Understanding Obama: The Making of a Fuehrer

I must confess I was not impressed by Sen. Barack Obama from the first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident – a wholesome presidential package. It is so instinctive for most people to want to see blacks succeed. It is as if all humanity is carrying a collective guilt for what the ancestors of blacks endured. However, despite my initial interest in him, I was put off soon, not just because of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling. His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words.

It is surreal to see the level of hysteria in his admirers. This phenomenon is unprecedented in American politics. Women scream and swoon during his speeches. They yell and shout to Obama, “I love you.” Never did George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt. Martin Luther King Jr. or Ronald Reagan arouse so much raw emotion. Despite their achievements, none of them was raised to the rank of Messiah. The Illinois senator has no history of service to the country. He has done nothing outstanding except giving promises of change and hyping his audience with hope. It’s only his words, not his achievements that is causing this much uproar.

When cheering for someone turns into adulation, something is wrong. Excessive adulation is indicative of a personality cult. The cult of personality is often created when the general population is discontent. A charismatic leader can seize the opportunity and project himself as an agent of change and a revolutionary leader. Often, people, tired of the status quo, do not have the patience to examine the nature of the proposed change. All they want is change. During 1979, when the Iranians were tired of the dictatorial regime of the late Shah, they embraced Khomeini, not because they wanted Islam, but because he promised them change. The word in the street was, “anything is better than the Shah.” They found their error when it was too late.

Khomeini promised there would be separation between religion and state. He lied and they did not care to look into his past to see whether he actually meant what he said. Had they done that they would have seen that he always believed in caliphate and the rule of Islam. People gobbled everything he told them uncritically. They wanted to believe and therefore closed their eyes so they did not see what they did not want to see. Eyes welled when he spoke. Masses poured into the streets by the millions, screamed and shouted to greet him. People kissed his pictures. Some saw his portrait reflected on the Moon.

Listening to Obama ... it harkens back to when I was younger and I used to watch Khomeini, how he would excite the crowd and they'd come to their feet and scream and yell.

I was amused to hear a listener calling Fox News Radio's Tom Sullivan Show, (Feb 11) and saying: "Listening to Obama ... it harkens back to when I was younger and I used to watch those deals with Hitler, how he would excite the crowd and they'd come to their feet and scream and yell." ( Videos of Hitler’s speeches are available on Youtube. They are worth a look.)

Equating anyone to Hitler by highlighting the similarities between the two is a logical fallacy. This fallacy, known as reductio ad Hitlerum is a variety of both questionable cause and association fallacy. I believe it is wrong to trivialize the holocaust and the horrors of Nazism by comparing our opponents to Hitler.

However, Hitler, prior to coming to power had not killed anyone. He was insane, but few could see that. Far from it, he was seen as a gifted man and hailed as the savior of Germany. He was admired throughout the world. He appealed to the masses of people – the working class and particularly to women, and did not just inspire them, he “elevated” them. Thousands rallied to listen to his passionate speeches. They shed tears when he spoke. Women fainted during his speeches. To Germans, he was not a politician, but a demigod, a messiah. They envisioned him as truly a magical figure of majestic wisdom and glory. They worshiped him. They surrendered their wills to him. He restored their national pride. He projected himself as their savior. He ran on the platform of change and hope. Change he delivered all right, but hopes he shattered.

I think it is fair to say that the Illinois senator puts the same passion in his speeches that Hitler used to put in his, and he evokes similar raw emotions in his audience. This much we can agree. Okay, we can also agree that both Hitler and Charlie Chaplin wore square moustaches. So what?

The Cult of Personality

There are other disturbing similarities. Like Hitler and Khomeini, Obama also likes to create a cult of personality around himself. As stated above, when a large number of a population is discontent, a charismatic leader can seize the opportunity and present himself as the agent of change. He can create a cult of Personality by associating himself with the idea of change. He convinces everyone that things are terrible and a drastic change is needed. He then casts himself as the only person who can deliver this revolutionary transformation that everyone is waiting for. He portrays himself as a benevolent guide; the only one who cares about people and their needs and can pull them out of their alleged misery. In reality, they have no clue about how to address the problem - have no experience, no track record. But they are convincing because they are self assured.

These revolutionary leaders need foes. They exaggerate the problems. They make everything look gloomy. They lie, cheat and slander their opponents while casting themselves as the saviors of the nation. Hitler chose the Jews to blame for everything that was wrong in Germany. Khomeini made the Shah and his westernization plans his scapegoats. Obama has chosen President George W. Bush to smear. He can rally people around himself, as long as he can instill in them the dislike of Bush and equate his rival, McCain to him. Sigmund Freud wrote, "It is always possible to bind together a considerable number of people in love, so long as there are other people left over to receive the manifestations of their aggressiveness" (Civilization and Its Discontents).

A cult of personality is excessive adulation, admiration and exaltation of a charismatic leader, often with unproven merits or achievements. It is similar to hero worship except that it is created specifically for political leaders.

An unequivocal expression of delusional gradiosity

Let us read a few of the comments Obama’s fans have made about him. Their unbounded adulation of this totally unknown figure is proof of my claim.

Jon Robin Baitz is the creator of the ABC series "Brothers & Sisters." He writes:

Today we saw and heard a preview of our brightest possible American future in Senator Barack Obama's glorious speech. This, then, is what it means to be presidential. To be moral. To have a real center. To speak honestly, from the heart, for the benefit of all. If there was any doubt about what we have missed in the anti-intellectual, ruthlessly incurious Bush years, and even the slippery Clinton ones, those doubts were laid to rest by Barack Obama's magisterial speech today. A speech in which he distanced himself from a flawed father figure, Reverend Wright, and did so with almost Shakespearian dignity and honor.

For twenty years Obama was part of Jeremiah Wright’s racist church and listened to all the hate which that man spewed against the Jews and the “rich White America.” Obama did not object to any of those hateful comments and even donated $20,000 dollars to his Trinity United Church of Christ. Baitz is willing to overlook all that and, mesmerized by Obama’s speeches, he embraces a man who up until yesterday supported the racist views of his spiritual mentor. He calls Obama’s speech "glorious," and concludes he is honest and moral. How did he come to that hasty conclusion? There is no evidence of that except his "gut feeling." That observation is subjective. We have not seen any evidence of Obama's honesty yet. On the contrary, he has been caught with a litany of lies.

Clearly Sen. Obama has a charming effect on his audience, who after listening to him are so moved that they willingly give up their reason and follow their hearts. Let’s see how Baitz adulates Obama to the point of worship.

Barack Obama's speech, perhaps one of the most important in modern political history pushed us as a people to move beyond race and gender, beyond Democrat and Republican, beyond politics and into reviving the spirit of the nation itself. To talk, to talk at home, at work, at the dinner table. To really finally talk. What a great day, and where else in the world but in the United States? Today I am very proud to be an American.

Remembering the reaction of Iranians to Khomeini’s speeches, this is all deja vu for me.

There is an old adage that says, “Tell me who your friends are and I will tell who you are.” Don’t the quality of Obama’s friends and associates tell us about the man? Shouldn't we look at the history of this man to ascertain his truthfulness? One characteristic of cult of personality is that people become ready to close their eyes. They find excuses and rationalize the sins of their leader.

Another Obama worshipper is Ezra Klein. He is an associate editor at The American Prospect. Klein wrote:

Obama's finest speeches do not excite. They do not inform. They don't even really inspire. They elevate. They enmesh you in a grander moment, as if history has stopped flowing passively by, and, just for an instant, contracted around you, made you aware of its presence and your role in it. He is not the Word made flesh, but the triumph of word over flesh, over color, over despair. The other great leaders I've heard guide us towards a better politics, but Obama is, at his best, able to call us back to our highest selves, to the place where America exists as a glittering ideal, and where we, its honored inhabitants, seem capable of achieving it, and thus of sharing in its meaning and transcendence.

Obama is not seen by his admirers as a politician but as something holy. Klein says “He is not the Word made flesh, but the triumph of word over flesh.” The truth is that Obama is nothing but words! What is scary is that so many smart people are willing to fall for his empty words. Interestingly the same Ezra Klein had earlier said:

Obama is a cipher, an easy repository for the hopes and dreams of liberals everywhere...But if Obama avoided being battle-tested in 2004 by the grace of God, it's his own timidity that has kept his name clean since. Given his national profile and formidable political talents, he could have been a potent spokesman for Democratic causes in the Senate. Instead, he has refused to expend his political or personal capital on a single controversial issue, preferring to offer anodyne pieces of legislation and sign on to the popular efforts of others...Indeed, Obama is that oddest of all creatures: a leader who's never led. There are no courageous, lonely crusades to his name, or supremely unlikely electoral battles beneath his belt. He won election running basically unopposed, and then refused to open himself to attack by making a controversial but correct issue his own."

Quite a shift I would say. What did exactly Obama do, for Klein to change his views so drastically? Nothing! Obama has won this man’s heart only by the power of his mesmerizing words. he is making his conquests, through the sheer power of his oratory. That is how Hitler won the hearts of the Germans. As Obama’s life story shows, his words don’t have any bearing on reality. Words are powerful, but when they are not backed by any substance they are empty rhetoric.

Todd Gitlin, is professor of journalism and sociology at Columbia University. He is another worshipper of Obama. This is what he says about his leader.

This speech was a triumph on so many levels, does one dare hope it will turn the trick for hordes of parsing skeptics and listeners whose eyes did not water? First, Obama took the high road, which is also the long and demanding road. He refused to "move on" with a cursory acknowledgment that "mistakes were made." He did not acknowledge. He preached and he reasoned.”

Let us pause here and examine what this professor of journalism and sociology says. Obama was a close friend of Rev. Jeremiah Wright and listened to his racist sermons for twenty years. Wright is a man who has intense hatred for the Jews, for whites and for America. This clip shows some of his remarks made from the pulpit. Here is a gleaning from his sermons:

We [The White controlled America] have supported state terrorism against Palestinians and Black South Africans … Because of the stuff we have done overseas is now brought back to our own home front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost.
No, no, no! Not God bless America. God damn America. That is in the Bible, for killing innocent people. God damn America.
Government lied about Pearl Harbor. They knew that Japanese are going to attack.
They [Government] purposely infected African-American men with syphilis!
What is going on in White America, U.S. of KKK?
Black men turning on Black men? That is fighting the wrong enemy. You both are primary targets in an oppressive society that sees both of you as a dangerous threat.
What we [America] is doing is the same thing Al Qaida is doing, under a different flag.
Oh I am so glad, that I got a God who knows what it is to be a poor Black man living in a country and a culture that is controlled by and run by rich White people.
Yes, 911 happened to us, and so did slavery happen to us. Yes the World Trade Center happened to us, and so did White supremacy happen to us.
“Barack knows what it means to be a Black man living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich White people.”
When all these came to light, at first the Illinois senator denied having heard them. That excuse was not believable. Wright was Obama's spiritual mentor and the most influential man in his life. And yet he expects us to believe he listened to his sermons for 20 years but did not pay attention to what he was saying? So he changed his position and admitted to having heard them, but he categorically condemned them. Obama went one step further. He did not just condemn the racist remarks of his Pastor, but he preached and he sermonized how bad are they are. Now, this requires some audacity that only a narcissist can muster. Instead of apologizing and recognizing his error, Obama turned the table and preached to others.

How can we understand this? The man himself is the sinner but instead of acknowledging his sins, he preaches to others about the vices of those sins. The answer can be found in the description of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Narcissists will never admit being wrong. They are always one step ahead of you.

Those who remember Rev. Jimmy Swaggart know that he was one of the most popular and successful televangelists of all times. During the 1980s, he had millions of fans all over the world. He mesmerized his audience. He was more than a rock star, he was a phenomenon. Swaggart was a preacher of "morality." He was so against promiscuity and unlawful sex that he went after two other televangelist magnates, Marvin Gorman and Jimmy Baker, exposed their adultery and brought their empires down.

However, what narcissists preach and what they do are two different things. Soon after exposing Gorman’s adultery, Swaggart himself was photographed with a prostitute in a motel room. He was banned from giving sermons for three months. But he could not stay away from the church that provided him with adulation and the people who fed his narcissistic need. He said, "If I do not return to the pulpit this weekend, millions of people will go to hell." So he returned to the pulpit and after shedding a few crocodile tears of repentance, he went right on preaching morality, chastising adultery and sermoning to others, how THEY should live a chaste life.

This requires audacity. How one who has been caught with a prostitute, literally with his pants down, could have the cheek to preach to others about the very thing he is guilty of? NPD provides the answer to both Swaggart and Obama’s responses, when caught red handed. The narcissist will not apologize for his own sins; he will go on preaching to you about the evilness of those sins. If Professor Gitlin had read a book or two on narcissism, he would have not been hoodwinked by Obama’s preaching about racial harmony after being caught with his proverbial pants down in his racist church. Giltin is not alone; millions of Americans have fallen for this narcissist’s mind games.

Prof. Gitlin continues:
“The Reverend Jeremiah Wright,” he [Obama]said, “had spoken in an ‘incendiary’ manner,” but Obama offered himself as the man who rises from flames and invites you to rise from your own. He took a grievous embarrassment and moved his lesson to the plane of prophecy. Talk about hope; talk about audacity. Tears came to my eyes. I don't think I'm especially hard-hearted, but I cannot think of another time when the speech of a presidential candidate watered me up.

It is amazing to see to what extent people are willing to go to eulogize another human being. It is this excess that constitutes the cult of personality. The difference between admiration and cult of personality is in the degree of adulation. Is it not fair to say that Obama has the same effect on his fans that Hitler, Khomeini or other famous demagogues such as Joseph Stalin or Mao Ze Dong had? I am not equating Obama to those mass murderers. Obama has not killed anyone (at least not yet). I am only comparing their effects on their audience, particularly prior to their rise to power.

Obama’s speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such a quasi “religious” impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment, makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming.

Obama’s speeches are grandiose. They are other worldly. He may talk about the war in Iraq, taxes or social security. It does not matter how mundane is the subject, he makes them sound transcendental and his audience is moved to tears. His worshippers do not go to listen to his plans. He has yet to offer any that is workable and different. They go to bask in his glory, to get high. Obama presents himself as someone with a unique vision and grasp of the entire problems affecting, not just the nation but the world, a pretense that is incomensurate with his track record. When in a meeting with House Democrats waxing lyrical about his trip to Europe, he concluded, “this is the moment, as Nancy [Pelosi] noted, that the world is waiting for.” The world is waiting for Obama, according to Obama. In one of his rallies he reiterated this delusion of grandiosity and said, “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for." This sentence is logically absurd. What actually Obama wanted to say, which he masked with fake modesty is “I am the one the world has been waiting for.”

When you fall for someone to the extent that Obama’s followers have fallen for him, you surrender your reason and individuality to him willingly. When millions of people surrender their hearts and their minds to one person the result can be catastrophic. This is what happened in Germany with Hitler, in China with Mao, in the Soviet Union with Stalin, in Cuba with Castro, in Iran with Khomeini, and so on and so forth. Today, we think these men were monsters, but that was not what millions of their worshipers thought. Those people loved them. Dictators can’t dictate, unless peole are willing to be dictated.

Here is what Wikipedia says about Cult of Personality:
"A cult of personality or personality cult arises when a country's leader uses mass media to create a heroic public image through unquestioning flattery and praise. Cults of personality are often found in dictatorships but can be found in some democracies.

"A cult of personality is similar to general hero worship except that it is created specifically for political leaders. However, the term may be applied by analogy to refer to adulation of non-political leaders."

Who is Obama?

Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on most important subjects. Barack Obama is a narcissist. Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the Malignant Self Love, also believes, “Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist.”

Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist like no other person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens. Vaknin says that Obama’s language, posture and demeanor, and the testimonies of his closest, dearest and nearest suggest that the Senator is either a narcissist or he may have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).

Vaknin explains: “Narcissistic leaders are nefarious and their effects pernicious. They are subtle, refined, socially-adept, manipulative, possessed of thespian skills, and convincing. Both types [cerebral and somatic] equally lack empathy and are ruthless and relentless or driven.” These were the very traits that distinguished Hitler and Khomeini. Many of these traits can be seen in Obama. As for his ruthlessness, perhaps his support of legislation to let babies die if they survive abortion, gives a glimps into his soul, that he may lacks empathy, does not value life, and if in the position of power can be ruthless. Narcissists need power to show their ruthlessness. Considering the fact that Obama neglected his own half brother, George Hussein Obama, who lives on one dollar per month in Kenya, we can’t vouch for Obama’s empathy or say he is a caring person.

What is Narcissism?

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) describes narcissism as a personality disorder that “revolve around a pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and sense of entitlement. Often individuals feel overly important and will exaggerate achievements and will accept, and often demand, praise and admiration despite worthy achievements.”

The third and fourth editions of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of 1980 and 1994 and the European ICD-10 describe NPD in similar language:

An all-pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration or adulation and lack of empathy, usually beginning by early adulthood and present in various contexts. Five (or more) of the following criteria must be met:

Feels grandiose and self-important (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents to the point of lying, demands to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
Is obsessed with fantasies of unlimited success, fame, power or omnipotence, unequalled brilliance (the cerebral narcissist), bodily beauty or sexual performance (the somatic narcissist), or ideal, everlasting, all-conquering love or passion
Is firmly convinced that he is unique and, being special, can only be understood by, should only be treated by, or associate with, other special, unique, or high-status people (or institutions)
Requires excessive admiration, adulation, attention and affirmation, or failing that, wishes to be feared and notorious (narcissistic supply)
Feels entitled. Expects unreasonable or special and favorable priority treatment. Demands automatic and full compliance with his expectations
Is “interpersonally exploitative” i.e., uses others to achieve his or her own ends
Is devoid of empathy. Is unable or unwilling to identify with or acknowledge the feelings and needs of others
Is constantly envious of others or believes that they feel the same about him or her
Is arrogant, has haughty behaviors or attitudes coupled with rage when frustrated, contradicted, or confronted

Obama inebriated with the fantasy of unlimited success.

Pathological narcissism, is not akin to typical narcissism—someone with a hedonistic or self-centered sense of self —but rather someone with a very weak sense of self. Obama’s narcissism is pathological.

Narcissists seek power. That is the whole purpose of their existence. Power for them is the elixir of life. Those who know about NPD can’t help but notice it in Obama’s posture, the tone of his voice, his demeanor and particularly his grandiose claims and unscripted adlibs.

Narcissim has degrees. When it is extreme it shows in the posture and the way the narcissist walks and talks. Obama's posture, exudes haughtiness. He is all puffery. Compare his posture to those of Hitler, Stalin and Saddam.

According to Vaknin, Obama displays the following behaviors, which are among the hallmarks of pathological narcissism:

- Subtly misrepresents facts and expediently and opportunistically shifts positions, views, opinions, and "ideals" (e.g., about campaign finance, re-districting). These flip-flops do not cause him overt distress and are ego-syntonic (he feels justified in acting this way). Alternatively, refuses to commit to a standpoint and, in the process, evidences a lack of empathy.

- Ignores data that conflict with his fantasy world, or with his inflated and grandiose self-image. This has to do with magical thinking. Obama already sees himself as president because he is firmly convinced that his dreams, thoughts, and wishes affect reality. Additionally, he denies the gap between his fantasies and his modest or limited real-life achievements (for instance, in 12 years of academic career, he didn't publish a single scholarly paper or book).

- Feels that he is above the law.

- Talks about himself in the 3rd person singluar or uses the regal "we" and craves to be the exclusive center of attention, even adulation

- Has a messianic-cosmic vision of himself and his life and his "mission".

- Sets ever more complex rules in a convoluted world of grandiose fantasies with its own language (jargon)

- Displays false modesty and unctuous "folksiness" but is unable to sustain these behaviors (the persona, or mask) for long. It slips and the true Obama is revealed: haughty, aloof, distant, and disdainful of simple folk and their lives.

- Sublimates aggression and holds grudges.

- Behaves as an eternal adolescent (e.g., his choice of language, youthful image he projects, demands indulgence and feels entitled to special treatment, even though his objective accomplishments do not justify it).

Obama sublimates aggression. Can he be trusted as the leader of the free world?

Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of People’s Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder their own children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao, Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our time. All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers’ souls, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life. They gave them hope! They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to their doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until it it too late.

One determining factor in the development of NPD is childhood abuse. “Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations,” says Vaknin. “Mixed-race marriages were even less common then. His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant (two years old). Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. Then, his mother re-married and Obama had to relocate to Indonesia: a foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father. At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white) grandparents. He saw his mother only intermittently in the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979. She died of cancer in 1995.”

In Vaknin’s words, “Pathological narcissism is a reaction to prolonged abuse and trauma in early childhood or early adolescence. The source of the abuse or trauma is immaterial: the perpetrators could be dysfunctional or absent parents, teachers, other adults, or peers.”

The pathological narcissist has a very weak sense of self. He compensates his devalued and injured self with pomposity and by projecting a false image of majesty and authority. He retreats into a bubble universe of fantasy, in which he is loved, respected and omnipotent. All children create such a world. Narcissists simply don’t leave it. They carry this world of pretence into their adulthood. With the passage of time, this world becomes to them as real as the real world, to the point that they can’t tell the difference. When Obama acts presidential, he is simply acting out his childhood fantasy of omnipotence and grandeur. Emotionally, he is still a little hurt boy, neglected and unloved in the body and mind of a grown up man. Such people can be dangerous. Narcissists have the emotional maturity of a child, or even an animal, but the intellect of a man. They feel like a beast, but think like a human.

If we look into the childhood of all narcissists, we can see that invariably they were abused. Saddam was born to a widow who after losing her husband and her 12 year old son was so distressed that she attempted suicide. Before his birth, she would pull out clumps of her hair and pummel her pregnant abdomen with her fists. Saddam Hussein in his own official biography recounts his unhappy childhood. Hitler was the son of a very abusive man who would beat him regularly. From Saddam to Osama, to Hitler, to Stalin, to Khomeini, to Mao and to Kim Jong Ill, it is wounded childhood that causes NPD. Obama’s chaotic childhood and his continuous struggle to find his identity make him a prime candidate for NPD.

Hitler was confused about his identity. His father was an illegitimate son of a Jew. He chose to be in denial of that part of himself and his response was the genocide of the Jews. Obama’s search for his identity led him to a racist church that preached “Black Power.” He changed his given name Barry to Barack, in an atempt to rid himself of the only vestige he had with his white heritage.

Narcissists have only one issue. They want power and will do and say anything to get it. Their words mean nothing to them. They do not intend to keep them. They look into your eyes and swear on a stack of Bibles that they are not going to do something when that is exactly what they intend to do. They break their promises when it suits them and annul their treaties when they can get away with it. They lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie, and lie.

Narcissists are pathological liars. They lie even to themselves. Ironically, they are the first to believe their own lies. When normal people lie, they show signs of distress. Narcissists don’t. They can pass any polygraph test with flying colors. It is this conviction that fools people around them making them believe in their truthfulness and sincerity. In a twisted way they are sincere because, although they are conscience that they are not truthful, they believe in their own lies. This is difficult to understand and even more difficult to explain, but for a narcissist fantasy and reality are intertwined. The narcissist’s delusional thoughts of grandiosity are real to him.

Germans are not particularly an evil race. They are no better or worse than any other nation. And yet, despite their advanced culture and civility they committed the most hideous crime in modern history. They murdered up to ten million people, because those unfortunate souls did not meet their "Master Race standards of ethnic purity.” Hitler did not kill anyone; the Germans did.

So the question is: What made these smart and highly civilized people commit such horrendous acts of savagery?

According to Vaknin, “The narcissistic or psychopathic leader is the culmination and reification of his period, culture, and civilization. He is likely to rise to prominence in narcissistic societies.”

Is America a narcissistic society? Vaknin believes “Pathological narcissism is a ubiquitous phenomenon because every human being - regardless of the nature of his society and culture - develops healthy self esteem early in life [which he calls healthy narcissism]. Healthy narcissism is rendered pathological by abuse - and abuse, alas, is a universal human behavior. By 'abuse, we mean any refusal to acknowledge the emerging boundaries of the individual - smothering, doting, and excessive expectations - are as abusive as beating and incest.”

The emergence of so many cults in America is proof that America is not an exception to the norm. If demagogue narcissists, like Jim Jones, David Koresh or Jimmy Swaggart can find a fertile ground in America, why not one with a political message?

The Power of Manipulation

Narcissists are manipulative and extremely resourceful. They know how to the play their game, and how to get what they want, by using others. Obama is the least experienced senator among the Democrats. His political views are the most foolish of them all. He opposed the surge in Iraq saying it will make the situation worse and he was wrong. He thinks the solution to terrorism is to sit with terrorist states without precondition and negotiate with them. When Russia invaded Georgia, all this genius did was to urge both sides to "exert restraint". Everything this man has said so far reveals his ignorance in economical, political and military matters. Despite that, this junior senator has managed to rally the seasoned senators of the Democratic Party around himself and, not withstanding his ineptitude, he has emerged as the leader de facto of his party and their presidential candidate.

This is a remarkable feat. One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents.

Anyone can be fooled by narcissists. Just as experienced and smart senators of the Democratic Party have surrendered to the charisma of Obama, a man who is inferior to them all in every sense; many members of the media also have fallen for his charm hook, line and sinker. The American media is soft on Obama, but extremely harsh and deceitfully unfair on Governor Palin. The “rich White Americans,” the very people he despised for twenty years are swooning for him. The Jews whom he opposed all his life are backing him. They are opening their wallets and supporting his campaign in an unprecedented way. He has managed to charm even the Kennedys. Ted Kennedy, the lion in Winter, passed the Kennedy mantle unto Obama. That was hugely symbolic. As for the great Clintons, he made them submissive, and for whatever reason, incomprehensible to me, they are playing his game. Think about it. Obama is a cipher. In reality, he is nobody. And yet, thanks to his overbearing display of authority, the very mask that he is wearing to hide his devalued and injured self, he has overwhelmed all the giants of the Democratic party. Cults are full of smart people who have been hoodwinked by ally sick needy people.

Could all this phenomenal support and unbounded adulation erupt into violence? All the abuses and killings in Nazi Germany were done by the Germans, ordinary people who loved Hitler and believed in the glorious tomorrow that he was promising them. Hitler was insane, but those who did his bidding were not. Despite being smart, they did not hesitate to fulfill their fuehrer’s wishes and commit the most heinous crimes. The same thing happened in Iran. Ordinary people, once under the spell of Khomeini, acted like beasts. This is what happens when sane people follow insane people.

Could the same happen in America? Why not? Look how millions of people literally worship Obama. With some people I cannot even talk about Obama. They cannot tolerate any criticism of him. They get angry and, not only they want to end the conversation but threaten to end the friendship. I am familiar with this kind of religious devotion to a person. The reaction that I get from Obama worshippers is similar to that of Muslims when their prophet is criticized. They are even prone to insult you. See how they overlook Obama's blatant lies and are willing to forgive his major sins such as racism. Note how the mainstream media bends the rules, twists the facts, exaggerates Obama’s little virtues, absolves his sins, and even lies to sell him to the public. Compare the royal treatment that the liberal press has given to Obama to how unfairly they treat Governor Palin; how they smear her character and belittle her experience and achievement. ABC’s Charlie Gibson’s interview with Governor Palin was a stain on journalistic integrity. Is it more important that Palin has not traveled the world and has not shaken hands with heads of states, or the fact that Obama has lied so many times? Under what pretext should an ordinary citizen visit heads of foreign states? The question itself is preposterous.

While not shaking hands with foreign heads of states does not disqualify one to run for any office, The Logan Act (est. 1799) makes it a crime for a citizen to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States. Specifically, it prohibits citizens from negotiating with other nations on behalf of the United States without authorization.

That is exactly what Obama did during his trip to Iraq, a charge that Obama's national security spokeswoman Wendy Morigi confirmed, while trying to deny it. She said, “In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a ‘Strategic Framework Agreement’ governing the future of US forces until after President George W. Bush leaves office.”

This is high treason. Ordinary citizens have no right to enter into negotiations with foreign countries and make deals against the interest of their Government. Obama tells the Iraqis not to let the American soldiers go, so he can call them in January, supposedly when he is the president and claim victory for himself. Will Mr. Gibson or anyone in the liberal media question Obama for this crime?

Gibson’s questions were tricky. He asked the Governor, “what do you think of Bush’s doctrine,” and then, instead of explaining himself, he insisted that his interviewee define what he meant. After letting the Governor look puzzled, Gibson explained what he understands of "Bush Doctrine," which according to him is preemptive strike.

Assuming this is a “Bush doctrine,” is it his only doctrine? Isn’t being pro life also a Bush doctrine? Isn’t Christianity or creationism a Bush doctrine? Bush believes in a multitude of things. How can one know what Gibson has in mind? Do you see the trickery? Bush has many doctrines, and they change as his thinking evolves over time.

Many members of the media have been hoodwinked by the charm of the rising fuehrer. They have become his extensions, act deceitfully and dishonestly to make their beloved leader’s rise to power a reality.

How can smart people let themselves be manipulated by a psychopath to such an extent that they become quasi zombies? Recall what the smart Germans did under the spell of Hitler. Bear in mind what the Soviets did under the influence of Stalin. Consider what the Japanese did during WWII when they believed in the divinity of their emperor. Evoke how the Chinese Red Guard massacred millions of their own countrymen when they were blinded by their love for Mao and his faux notion of equality. Look at the Islamic terrorists. Can’t we say the same about them? Isn’t Islamic savagery the result of Muslims’ uncritical devotion to a long deceased narcissist? No one is born a terrorist. Terrorists are ordinary people who do the bidding of a pathological narcissist whom they love and worship as their liberator. They are so enamored with him that they stop thinking and act like automatons. To prove their love and devotion they can commit murder and even suicide. They can kill their own children, as the followers of Jim Jones did in Guyana. The narcissist encourages all of this behavior because it validates his delusion of omnipotence. It reassures him that he is loved, respected, counted, taken seriously. Did you hear the song played during the Democratic convention? It said, “This is the church.” And who do you think is the head of that church? Americans are as fallible and as gullible as everyone else. It is foolhardy to say "it won't happen to us." Just as today, Obama’s supporters happily engage in intellectual dishonesty, deceitful reporting, and even hooliganism, I predict they will soon, merrily commit the same crimes other nations committed under the spell of their narcissistic leaders.

The Sick Symbiosis

Narcissists need their narcissistic supply to fuel their narcissism. They get it through adulation from people around them. These people are often also needy people. They are known as co-dependants. The narcissist and his co-dependent therefore, form a sick symbiosis in which both benefit. Let me give you one example to explain this mechanism.

David Sirota is a nationally syndicated newspaper columnist. In December 2006, in an article entitled “The Ridiculousness & Danger That Is Obama '08” Sirota lambasted the Democrats who wanted Obama, an incognito junior senator, to run for presidency.

Sometimes, you really just have to sit back and laugh at the ridiculousness of the celebrity-obsessed political culture we now live in.” wrote Sirota in his column. “Take this Chicago Sun-Times article by Lynn Sweet in which she predicts Illinois Sen. Barack Obama (D) will run for president. She goes through what he has to do to prepare for his run, and this is the one that just makes you chuckle: “Develop signature legislative initiatives: Once the Democrats control Congress come January, there's a chance to pass legislation. Watch for Obama to focus on alternative energy measures, health care and ethics reform legislation that stalled earlier this year."

Think about it. The national media is swooning over Obama, begging him to run for president. Yet, at the same time, they are implicitly acknowledging that he has actually not "developed significant legislative initiatives." In other words, we are to simply accept that the Obama for President wave has absolutely nothing to do with anything that the man HAS DONE and further, that whenever he does decide to use his enormous political capital to do something, it is all in pursuit of the White House - not any actual sense of DOING SOMETHING for the people who elected him to the Senate.

I don't blame Obama for not having accomplished much - he's been in the Senate for two years. As I wrote in the Nation, the main concern about him is that he doesn't actually seem to ASPIRE to anything outside of the Washington power structure (other than maybe running for another higher office), and doesn't seem to be interested in challenging the status quo in any fundamental way. Using his senate career as a guide, it suggests that any presidential run by him is about him, his speaking ability and his fawned over talent for "connecting" (whatever the hell that means).” (Read the rest of Sirota’s comment in his own blog.)

I could not say it better. Sirota understood the problem with Obama. He realized that not only this man has zero experience; he is actually a power hungry charlatan that aspires to nothing other than running for another higher office. He then expressed his outrage at the fellow Democrats who tried to make a leader out of this quack.

These Democrats laid all their hopes on Obama. They were captivated by his charm. They could not see that this man is wearing a mask of authority to cover his inner feeling of insecurity; that he is a fraud, a narcissist. When approached, Obama at first confessed to his inexperience, but the sycophants in the Democratic Party, were so desperate to find a charismatic leader that they could not let go of their prize. It does not take much to persuade a narcissist that he can do anything. He is already convinced that he is smarter and better that everyone else. So, despite his own confession of lack of experience, Obama could not resist the temptation.

To nurture his narcissism, the narcissist needs narcissistic supply. It is always people around the narcissist who provide that supply and encourage him in his psychosis. If it were not for Khadijah who reassured her husband that his hallucinations were not demonic, as he had thought, but divine revelations, Muhammad may never have started his prophetic career. It was she who encouraged him to launch a new religion, instead of calling an exorcist.

This is called co-dependency. The co-dependent, who also suffers from low self esteem, seeks his or her grandeur and narcissistic supply in the greatness of a narcissist of whom she seeks to become a part.

According to Wikipedia, “a ‘codependent’ is loosely defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for persons who depend on him or her. A ‘codependent’ is one side of a relationship between mutually needy people. The dependent, or obviously needy party(s) may have al, physical, financial difficulties, or addictions they seemingly are unable to surmount. The "codependent" party exhibits behavior which controls, makes excuses for, pities, and takes other actions to perpetuate the obviously needy party's condition, because of their desire to be needed and fear of doing anything that would change the relationship.”

The Democrats were desperately in need of a charismatic leader. They saw their hope in a needy man, a narcissist who portrayed himself as self assured, eloquent and authoritative and had sex appeal. It was love at first sight and they set on to polish him as their candidate. In this relationship the Democratic Party became the co-dependant of the narcissist Obama. They needed someone to shine so they can bask in his splendor. And Obama needed them to fulfill his delusions of grandiosity. This is how codependency works. It is a sick symbiosis of two needy parties. Behind every successful narcissist, there is always a co-dependent.

When the co-dependent and the narcissist team-up the result can be catastrophic. Now we have folie à deux. The delusional belief of the narcissist about himself is transmitted and shared by another needy, but ostensibly smart person. The codependent validates and encourages the narcissist's delusion. As the result, the narcissist becomes bolder, more assertive, more authoritative and more confident. The partnership of the narcissist and the codependent dons their delusion with the mantle of credibility. The codependent will then do everything to persuade others as well. The narcissist's cause is himself. The codependent will champion that cause. By recruiting others, they find validation for their own belief about the narcissist. Soon the folie à deux becomes folie à trois, then folie à quatre, and when you are a presidential candidate and are followed by a hoard of journalists and cameramen, before you blink there will be folie à plusieurs (madness of many). Recent psychiatric classifications refer to the syndrome as shared psychotic disorder.

The masses of people have no first hand knowledge of the narcissist, but they jump on the bandwagon thanks to a very human trait, misnomered as “herd mentality.” They reason, how can so many people can be wro,ng and satisfied by this fallacy blindly join the cult of personality worship.

Like gasoline being poured on a fire, the sycophants around the narcissist provide him with an abundance of narcissistic fuel to feed upon. The unbounded adulations poured at his feet further reinforce and escalate the unique and divine self-image of the narcissist. The larger the narcissistic fuel supply becomes, the more inflated becomes his ego, and the more firmly set in his own mind becomes the conviction of his own invincibility and superiority over other men. The narcissist reaches a stage that he will claim to be a revolutionary leader, an agent of change, a renascence man, the hand of God, even a messenger or prophet of God. Just as a fire can grow infinitely large as long as it receives its fuel, there is no limit to the delusional belief of a narcissist. When millions of people yell and scream and shout “I love you,” an ordinary narcissist is prone to believe that he is God. If the narcissist happens to be a person with power and authority, in a position of high leadership commanding armies and weapons of mass destruction, the result too often leads to the horrific slaughter of millions of innocent souls in the gulag, gas chambers, or killing fields.

Unbounded adulation reconfirms the narcissist that he is right and that anyone who disagrees with him is evil and therefore it is just to punish him. Narcissists do not understand the concept of the Golden Rule. Right is what benefits them and wrong is what harms them. So they fight for their own interest and are convinced that this is justice. Human rights and human lives are important only to the extent that they meet their narcissistic needs. They are worthless, and can be disposed of, if they don’t.

Ayatollah Montazeri, the man who was originally chosen to succeed Khomeini, recalled when Khomeini ordered the execution of 3000 youths who were captured during a demonstration against him. Montazeri protested and Khomeini angrily told him, “I will respond for my actions in the Day of Judgment.” Khomeini was a man of God. However, as a narcissist, he was convinced that because he was a superior being and a chosen one, a delusional belief that was reconfirmed by millions of people when they cheered for him, anyone who opposed him was opposing God and therefore by killing them he was doing the maker of the universe a favor.

There is no cure for narcissism. However, deprived of adulation, the disorder will remain dormant. The narcissist, without the narcissistic supply, may become grumpy and complain that the world does not understand them or appreciate their importance. They will continue to cheat and lie when they can get away with it, but the damage that they can cause is not earth shattering. However, when a narcissist becomes the focus of unlimited narcissistic supply, where millions of people scream at his feet, he goes insane.

As narcissism maturates, the narcissist becomes more demanding for respect and compliance and more intolerant of criticism. He becomes paranoid, and divides the world into “us” vs. “them”. He casts himself and his minions as victims and instills in them the distrust of the “others”.

When criticized, Obama's soul can be seen in his eyes.

The narcissist’s anger and intolerance is projected on his servile followers who also become angry and intolerant of criticism of their leader. Remember the sick symbiosis between the narcissist and his codependents? The followers get their narcissistic supply by elevating the status of their leader. The greater he looks, the better they feel. They see their glory is his glory. Conversely, when the narcissist is criticized, his followers become offended. They take those criticisms personally and their instinct of self defense is triggered. They will become vigilantes and will silence their critics through intimidation, bullying, mocking, threats and violence (like calling those who disagree with Obama, racists).

This paragraph is a later addition. About a week after I wrote the above, Missouri sheriffs and top prosecutors formed Obama "Truth Squads" and threatened libel charges against Obama critics. I am no prophet, but see how my predictions are coming to pass. This is only the begining. Narcissists are intolerant of criticism and create a reign of terror to silence their critics. Please someone invite this Obama's "Truth Squad" to respond to his article and silence me.

Sirota was no fool. He saw what is wrong with Obama and was right on the money when he described him. But, as I have repeated many times, narcissists are gifted manipulators. Sirota is an influential man. Obama needed his support and called him.

It's not every day that God calls your cell phone,” wrote Sirota, sarcastically speaking of Obama, ‘This is Barack Obama.’ Thinking it was a good friend playing a joke, I said I didn't believe him. But no, the voice insisted with a laugh, it was Illinois Senator Barack Obama, otherwise known in cult-of-personality political circles as a deity, a rising Democratic star or, as George W. Bush recently called him, "the pope."

Narcissists are relentless and very convincing. They tell you exactly what you want to hear. They are full of promises. Their talent to manipulate is phenomenal. Well, not this time! Sirota apparently was not ready to sell his conscience (at least not yet) and endorse a man who according to him did not “aspire to anything outside of the Washington power structure (other than maybe running for another higher office.)” This is the kind of patriot America needs more of – citizens of integrity and conscience.

Where does David Sirota stand today? Errr!... Amm!… Why do you want to know? Emm!... How can I put it? Mr. Sirota…, Errr!…, Ah! Yes! Mr. Sirota has had an epiphany - a Pauline sort of experience. As he neared Damas... I mean Denver, on his journey to the Democratic Convention, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice on his cell phone say to him, "David, David, why do you persecute me?" "Who are you, Lord?" David asked. "I am Barack, whom you are persecuting," he replied. "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." That is how David Sirota became a believer of Obama. He stopped blaspheming his Lord by calling him inept and opportunist. Guess what? He has even defended Jeremiah Wright. Hallelujah! Surely “God” (the emerging one) can transform the hearts of his enemies.

Narcissists have an almost surreal power to manipulate others. They can literally charm their adversaries and turn them into cheerful scullion, who will even thank them for giving them the privilege to slave for them.

You see! The narcissist and the codependent need each other. Many members of the Democratic Party may know what Sirota knows, but they need Obama. They have to keep up appearances (think Hillary, who once said "shame on you, Barack Obama" because of his flip flopping and lies and now supports him).

Narcissists are amoral. They consider themselves to be above the law. Once in power, they will try to strengthen their hold by surrounding themselves with equally amoral people. A good example of what we should expect in Obama’s administration is the infamous NAFTA gate scandal. This is what happened:

A senior member of the Obama campaign called the Canadian government to say that “when Sen. Obama talks about opting out of the free trade deal, the Canadian government shouldn’t be worried; that it is just campaign rhetoric and shouldn’t be taken seriously.”

Isn't it amazing? Obama tells the Ohio voters, who are unhappy with NAFTA that he is going to kill it, when actually he does not mean to do any such thing. For a narcissist, ends justify means. He feels warranted to lie and deceive in order to accomplish what he has to accomplish.

This story was denied by Obama, but confirmed twice by sources at the highest level of the Canadian government. This is how a narcissist operates. Obama will lie to Americans and he will surround himself with equally unethical people. With a Congress and Senate controlled by Democrats, and his ability as president to replace retiring Supreme Court judges, nothing will stop him from abusing his power.

The Cause of the Narcissist

The cause of the narcissist is himself. Everything else is a tool, a stepping stone for the narcissist to ascend to power. Narcissists don’t have any ideology. They champion the cause that has a better chance of making their ascent to power easier.

Vaknin writes: “Narcissists use anything they can lay their hands on in the pursuit of narcissistic supply. If God, creed, church, faith, and institutionalized religion can provide them with narcissistic supply, they will become devout. They will abandon religion if it can't.”

Therefore, the question whether Obama is a Muslim or a Christian, whether he is pro Palestine, as he has been all his life or whether he is pro Israel, whether he is a black supremacist or an agent of racial harmony, are moot. Obama is anything you want him to be and situation dictates. He takes the side that is more expedient to his cause. To communists he is a comrade, to Islamists he is their man, to Palestinian fighters he is their hope and to the Jews he is a staunch Zionist. The narcissist’s creed is himself. Everything else is negotiable.

Obama will do and say anything as long as it suits him. He will embrace any cause, will align himself with anyone, and will shift his position wherever the wind blows. Narcissists are chameleons.

Obama voted “present” in the Senate most of the time, (130 times to be precise) not because they were too difficult decisions, as Rudy Giuliani said at the GOP convention, but because those issues were not relevant to his cause.

Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and do not deserve their attention. If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he has no interest in it. The “present” vote is a safe vote. No one can criticize him if things go wrong. Why should he implicate himself in issues that may become controversial when they don’t help him personally? Those issues are unworthy by their very nature because they are not about him.

Obama’s election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. The University of Chicago Law School provided him with a fellowship and an office to work on his book. The book took him a lot longer than expected and at the end it devolved into…, guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which, he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book Dreams from My Father .

Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself?

Narcissists are magical thinkers. They live in a world of fantasy; fantasies of grandiosity and unlimited power. But they are convinced that those fantasies will become reality because they are special and destined for greatness. That is why Obama already sees himself as president and acts presidential. The very fact that he travelled abroad and visited with several heads of states is another sign of this man's delusions of grandiosity. He is not representing the government. Under what pretext he visited those heads of states and entered into negotiations with them?

Vaknin explains, “Bragging and false autobiography – The narcissist brags incessantly. His speech is peppered with ‘I’, ‘my’, ‘myself’, and ‘mine’. He describes himself as intelligent, or rich, or modest, or intuitive, or creative – but always excessively, implausibly, and extraordinarily so.”

Narcissists Are Dangerous.

Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama’s lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month. A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power. A narcissist cares for no one but himself.

Compare this to what the McCains did. They brought a child from Bangladesh with facial deformities - a little girl with no chance for a normal life – and with plastic surgery restored her beauty and adopted her as their daughter. Millions of ordinary people, who are not even wealthy, have fostered children of total strangers in third world countries and give about a dollar a day for their education and upbringing.

Narcissists can be very generous, but never without an ulterior motive. They are generous when their display of generosity is noticed and elevates them in the eyes of others. Obama donated $20,000 to his racist and anti-Semitic church, but neglected his brother who could get some education and live a lot better if only he had one dollar per day.

Narcissism is all about image. Vaknin says, “The narcissist is shallow, a pond pretending to be an ocean. He likes to think of himself as a Renaissance man, a Jack of all trades. The narcissist never admits to ignorance in any field – yet, typically, he is ignorant of them all. It is surprisingly easy to penetrate the gloss and the veneer of the narcissist's self-proclaimed omniscience.”

Obama’s gaffes in history and world affairs are proof of that. This man does not even know the number of states in the USA, or that Canada does not have a president. That is why Vaknin says a narcissist is a shallow pond that pretends to be an ocean. Obama's ignorance about what should be common knowledge is mind boggling.

Narcissists have a profound sense of call, as they believe they have a “special purpose” or a “high calling.” In his autobiography Hitler wrote, “I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator.” Politics and religion offer irresistible lure for the narcissist.

And this is what Obama said about his “calling:” "Kneeling beneath that cross on the South Side of Chicago, I felt I heard God's spirit beckoning me," he said of his walk down the aisle of the Trinity United Church of Christ. "I submitted myself to his will and dedicated myself to discovering his truth."

At least one mental health professional believes that about 6% of Americans are pathological narcissists. The percentage in countries where child abuse is more prevalent is a lot higher. Although all narcissists are cunning, and bereft of conscience, not all of them have the wits to rise to power. A narcissist with smarts can be dangerous.

Hitler was smart, and so is Obama. Hitler would not have become the monster he became had he not risen to power and had he not received so much narcissistic fodder to feed on. One man who saw Khomeini prior to rising to power recalled he would gently push flies out of his window, but would not kill them. The same man massacred tens of thousands of Iranians. It is power that brings madness out of the narcissist.

America is at a crucial moment in its history. I cannot think of any disaster greater than putting a pathological narcissist in control of the world’s most powerful military machine.

Narcissists are empty in substance but full on promises. Obama has not proposed a single concrete workable plan, but he has raised the hopes and expectations of millions of people with his promises. The glorious tomorrow that he offers is no more real than the Styrofoam Greek columns that adorned his image during his acceptance speech.

Vaknin says, “The narcissistic leader prefers the sparkle and glamour of well-orchestrated illusions to the tedium and method of real accomplishments, His reign is all smoke and mirrors, devoid of substances, consisting of mere appearances and mass delusions. In the aftermath of his regime - the narcissistic leader having died, been deposed, or voted out of office - it all unravels. The tireless and constant prestidigitation ceases and the entire edifice crumbles. What looked like an economic miracle turns out to have been a fraud-laced bubble. Loosely-held empires disintegrate. Laboriously assembled business conglomerates go to pieces. "earth shattering" and "revolutionary" scientific discoveries and theories are discredited. Social experiments end in mayhem.”

The narcissist who regards himself as the benefactor of the poor, a member of the common folk, the representative of the disenfranchised, the champion of the dispossessed against the corrupt elite - is highly unlikely to use violence at first.”

The pacific mask crumbles when the narcissist has become convinced that the very people he purported to speak for, his constituency, his grassroots fans, the prime sources of his narcissistic supply - have turned against him. At first, in a desperate effort to maintain the fiction underlying his chaotic personality, the narcissist strives to explain away the sudden reversal of sentiment. "The people are being duped by (the media, big industry, the military, the elite, etc.)", "they don't really know what they are doing", "following a rude awakening, they will revert to form", etc.

When these flimsy attempts to patch a tattered personal mythology fail - the narcissist is injured. Narcissistic injury inevitably leads to narcissistic rage and to a terrifying display of unbridled aggression. The pent-up frustration and hurt translate into devaluation. That which was previously idealized - is now discarded with contempt and hatred.

This election is like no other in the history of America. The issues are insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world?

I hate to sound alarmist, but one must be a fool if one is not alarmed. Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others. They are simply self serving and selfish. Obama evinces symptoms of pathological narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton, for example. To him reality and fantasy are intertwined. This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw. Pathological narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent. It is this disguise that makes them trecherous.

Vaknin says, “When the narcissist reveals his true colors, it is usually far too late. His victims are unable to separate from him. They are frustrated by this acquired helplessness and angry at themselves for having failed to see through the narcissist earlier on.”

Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven. Brendan Farrington, reported, evidence indicates that some black Republicans are switching parties to vote for Obama. He wrote, “Florida has 81,512 more black Democrats compared to a loss of 784 black Republicans; Louisiana has 34,325 more black Democrats, while the number of black Republicans dropped by 907; North Carolina has 92,356 more black Democrats and 2,850 fewer black Republicans. The only three states that track voting registration by party and race show black Republican registration dropping slightly since the beginning of the year."

Let us call a spade a spade. This is racism, pure and simple. The truth is that while everyone carries a misconceived collective guilt towards the blacks for wrongs done centuries ago by a bygone people to a bygone people, the blacks carry a collective rancor, enmity or vendetta towards non-blacks and to this day want to "stand up" to the whiteman. They seem to be stuck in 19th century.

The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites. The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites. The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support. I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960s. Obama will set the clock back decades.

America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America, and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations. It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House. America is on the verge of destruction. There is no insanity greater than electing a pathological narcissist as predident.

Psychiatric Test

When a narcissist is running for the highest office in the world, the stakes cannot be higher. Did it matter what were Hitler’s views on abortion, economy, environment, education, old age pension, gay rights, social security, jobs or housing? With Hitler, the only thing that really mattered was his mental sanity.

I urge all Americans to make this a pivotal issue in this electoral campaign. Time is running out. Please spread the word. Talk about it with your coworkers, friends and relatives. Invite everyone in your address book to sign this petition. Publish it in your blog. Write about it. This is the most vital issue. If a presidential candidate is mentally unfit, nothing else matters. If you are an Obama fan, please sign too, so you can vote with confidence that the man you are putting in the White House is not going to be your nightmare.

I have never seen a more arrogant, self important, elitist than Barrack Obama. The President makes a statement about "some people" and Obamy claims the right to be that someone and then claims the he is not doing what that person is said to be doing. Of course it had to be him because he is sooooooo important. And the drive by media gives him all the TV time he wants to "respond" and denounce President Bush and John McCain who is evidently in Bush's administration since whatever Bush does (or has done) McCain is also guilty of.

If this inexperienced little do nothing weenie gets elected President the people of our country who vote for him will deserve the economic and international catastrophe that follows...the rest of us will just get sucked down the drain with them. Have we become stupid enough to elect someone based on TV and newspaper hype? Is there a real possibility that an untested, slick talker with a stated socialistic agenda could end up in the White House? I'm afraid the answer to both questions is yes...and we will pay for it.

The answers to the following questions are among the most important ones ever sought. If they had been asked, and honest, accurate, answers offered, the American people would have held the potential solutions to this nation’s most crushing problems within their minds and also within their grasp. Because they were not asked, or asked by only a tiny number of caring, astute, educated, constitutionally literate citizens, most of us have fiddled while Washington burned. It is so late in the day, I do not believe that if we moved right now with every resource at our disposal, this nation can be saved from the ultimate ride into the septic tank of history, due to the flushing action of the economic markets, banks, big oil and of course, the Federal Reserve System (an extension of the Rothschild European banking conspiracy).

Understand that the banks have already made their big money, have always made money--even during the “depression.” They will emerge from the next great financial crises—somewhat bruised, but always ahead of the game. They will destroy economies, whole nations, indeed perhaps civilization, but they will emerge like maggots from dead carrion, bloated from their “meals” of your savings, your retirement systems, your former investments and your life’s work. These vultures are circling over America at this moment and could care less what happens to the crumbling domino effect created by their insatiable, indeed evil greed for money. They can not EVER be trusted to pursue the morally upright path with the people’s or the nation’s treasure. Since a cabal of paid off, corrupted and treasonous Congressional representatives voted late in the night of December 23, 1913, to surrender the nation’s banking responsibility--congressionally given to the United States Department of the Treasury—the PEOPLE”S treasury, to a PRIVATE banking group--the Federal Reserve System--this nation, from that moment to this very moment, has been running toward a date in its destiny that would see the end of free government and real liberty unlike any the world has ever known.

We are witnessing the end of a nation, it’s magnificent history forgotten, it’s potential for world leadership absolutely ruined by lying presidents, a prostituted military general staff overseeing the killing of its fighting core, bought and paid for legislators in the service of the banks, and a court system caught somewhere between military rule and the elusive but deadly concoction of “maritime” law and suspended constitutional government. The still in effect state of emergency used since March 9, 1933, including the bankruptcy of the US, and its “dissolution” of the government is the result. That is why judges rule without regard to the constitutionality of the issue before the court. That is why judges have assumed the power they have without the authority or constitutional right to do so. That is why judges everywhere ignore legal rights, deprive the accused of informed jury rulings, and dismiss tax cases at will. THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES IS SUSPENDED AND NOT AVAILABLE TO DEFEND CITIZENS WITHIN THE COURT SYSTEM.

Congress can do what it likes and ignore you. The Council on Foreign Relations dictates to congress and the President what it wants achieved toward the ultimate goal of US assimilation into the world’s government and a complete loss of our independence or sovereignty. That is why the Executive branch and the President are racing to close the deal with Canada and Mexico to create a giant borderless region where the banks win again. That is why mutual security or defense pacts are being brokered or already set in place to assure that unrest over this or any other slave creating legislation is protected, placing our economy AND YOUR JOBS on the fast track for annihilation. It explains the lack of any significant roundup of illegals or protection from international criminal drug running. It makes clear why a useless, meaningless war is fought endlessly in Iraq and why no one has had an original thought concerning oil independence in 60 years. These are issues and questions that have not been asked before a responsible, serious governmental agency for a generation or more. These same questions have been ignored by candidates running for public office, and have not been considered important by the very people who are going to be at the mercy of those officials, some of whom have held congressional public office since the early 1960’s. We are sowing what we have reaped.

Additional questions about the operations of our intelligence agencies, domestic eavesdropping, satellite surveillance on American citizens, court approved or private interception of our phone conversations, e-mail and text messaging captures by the CIA, FBI, BATFE, the Pentagon, the IRS, various state police agencies, and phone companies themselves show conclusively that our freedoms are absolutely gone.

Believe it or not, the first amendment is in serious doubt by congress and the courts. Say what you believe? Get a boat load of guts, because being right and saying so loudly, will give you a one-way ticket to a U.S. detention camp soon enough. We have virtually no 4th amendment protections left, none. The second amendment is in great peril by those who fear its threat to tyranny, and that we may just follow the Declaration of Independence and escort them out of town.

Still further questions about the integrity of our pharmaceuticals, the lack of accountability by clinics and hospitals that are killing more than 100,000 people yearly due to inbred infections rampant through the carelessness of lazy doctors and nursing staff who lack or ignore simple sterile protections observed even in the third world arise every day in America. Who is safeguarding us? Hospital administrators? Surgical teams? Apparently not. Big Pharma and its pill brigades? Not in the last 50 years or more.

Get back to grandma’s remedies. They work and cost next to nothing. Oh, that’s right, I should have known better. Those old time solutions are VERY cost effective. That’s why the big name pharmaceutical companies want ALL natural remedies regulated, eliminated, outlawed or bought up by themselves. It’s about MONEY—not the cure or the gain for you and me.

Where are the citizen committees asking these and thousands of other questions? Still too busy with crap that doesn’t matter. Still to set on boozing it up this Friday instead of tending to the nation’s business. Still making excuses why you just can’t afford to prepare for a rendezvous with history that will leave you breathless. Permanently breathless.

Where were the open and honest investigations starting in just the 1990’s concerning Oklahoma City, Waco, Ruby Ridge, Flight 800, September 11, 2001, the activities of the depraved and corrupted Democratic version of Heinrich Himmler, Attorney General Janet Reno, the whacked out Republican Attorney General John Ashcroft, his Patriot Act I and later II. German Fatherland (oops), that’s US Homeland Security, Director Chertoff and the Gestapo? The list goes on forever. Where were your questions and your outrage? Do you have any even now? Are you grasping all of this? Do you care? Have you given up? Are you so worn down, you can’t think or reason? Who will you blame when the trucks stop rolling? Where will you go to get toilet paper? Will you have enough soup on the shelf? Will you demand to know why our own United States Department of Agriculture demanded that every domesticated animal in America be chipped? Will you ask why every move you make and every free action you attempt is now regulated? Do you have the courage to refuse a REAL ID in the form of a driver’s license that will regulate and locate you anywhere, anytime? Are you rushing to get a “chip on board” US passport? WHY? Will you stop obeying these endless absurd “laws” and just say NO!? Have you stopped to consider that the only thing left for you to do is to start breaking the “law?”

Will you ask just one more question? Are you able or willing to do anything at all????

Will you begin this process by fighting political correctness, fighting special rights for only certain people, challenging stupid anti-common sense environmental and societal needs like letting children do what they want without discipline and allowing endangered centipedes to have more habitat considerations than my family?

As I have stated in recent weeks, America is issuing an SOS, the lifeboats are within reach, the implosion is accelerating and you had better prepare. THIS IS THE DAY, THIS IS THE TIME, AND THIS IS THE HOUR! We see the evidence of genetics run wild in our dwindling wheat supply. We see rogue nations, rogue dictators, rogue oil company executives, rogue oil refinery managers and cowardly congressional morons encouraging by their inaction to protect us, the destruction of the economy and our personal home budgets. We STILL do nothing. We can’t get from here to there on an airliner. Drugged up engineers are running railroad trains. Baseball heroes lie about their drug use and Congress uses them to show that they (the congress critters) are doing the people’s business.

Have you taken care of your finances? Have you moved to protect what you have? When will you decide what to do with your accounts? Do you own precious metals? Is your vehicle in good shape? Do you have some extra gasoline, kerosene or diesel fuel? Do you have a good inventory of tools, rope, chain, steel cable, barbed wire, concertina wire? Do you have a big supply of NON-HYBRID seeds? Is your winter clothing the real thing or does it just look good? Do you have a good supply of firewood? Can you live off the electrical, water and phone grid? Have you plotted a first, second, third and fourth route to your retreat? What if they close the roads? Are you within one tank of gas to your destination? Can you defend yourself or your family? Do you have an RV trailer, even a smaller one, to use during reasonable weather—until you can do something else, go somewhere else or figure something else out? What food supplies do you have? Can you prepare something that is not out of a “helper” box of some kind? Can you live without refrigeration? Can you stalk game and kill it? Can you dress it out safely? Do you know where and how to fish?

Have we asked the questions of our elected leaders at all levels that need to be asked? Have you sought them out and pinned them down as to what they believe, what they vote for and what they do in your name? Have you encouraged others to do those same things? Have you agreed with people who think like you do to agree to vote only for those who are willing to sign a pact with you outlining their beliefs and their PROMISE to do what is right for this nation and her people? Will you accept that unless we do that, America is absolutely doomed to the course of destruction that has been set by world elites that care not the least for you or America? Is God a part of your life and do you acknowledge your need for Him?

Will you start using your status as a citizen with a hard agenda, right now? Will you make life miserable for the very people you elected that have made your life miserable? Will you get ready before it is too late?

Have you taken this article seriously? I have asked fifty questions to help prepare your ability to withstand what is ahead. They have gone straight to the heart of why we are on the precipice of disaster. One question remains.

Are you willing to do what you MUST, to help America back to righteous government and moral world leadership? Your refusal to be run over by a train while waving the red, white and blue flare for freedom, means we may still be able to safely stop this runaway giant—if--the crew is still in control.

New York Radio Station Bans Ad Explaining Sderot's Dangers

(IsraelNN.com) WQXR Radio, a New York City station owned by The New York Times, has refused to air a radio spot by the American Jewish Committee (AJC) because of descriptions "outside our bounds of acceptability." AJC Executive Director David Harris said the spot was aired on hundreds of stations in the United States, including CBS.

The commercial stated, "Imagine you had fifteen seconds to find shelter from an incoming missile. Fifteen seconds to locate your children, help an elderly relative, assist a disabled person to find shelter. That's all the residents of Sderot and neighboring Israeli towns have. Day or night, the sirens go on. Fifteen seconds later, the missiles, fired from Hamas-controlled Gaza, hit. They could hit a home, a school, a hospital. Their aim is to kill and wound and demoralize. "

New York Times Radio president Tom Batunek explained to AJC that the spot did not make it clear that the missile attacks were taking place outside of the New York City area. He added, "The description of the missiles as arriving 'day or night' and 'daily' is also subject to challenge as being misleading, at least to the degree that reasonable people might be troubled by the absence of any acknowledgement of reciprocal Israeli military actions."

Harris commented, "In other words, according to Bartunek’s logic, the only way to broadcast the plight of Sderot’s residents over the airwaves is to equate Israel’s right of self-defense with Hamas’s and Islamic Jihad’s right to strike Israel at will."

The cancelled radio spot continued, "Imagine yourself in that situation. The sirens blast. 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. The time to seek shelter has ended. The missiles hit. This is what Israelis experience daily. But, amazingly, they refuse to be cowed. Help us help those Israelis."

Bartunek countered, "Finally, in my judgment the 'countdown' device and the general tone of the message do not meet our guidelines for decorum."

The AJC executive director, also revealed that the same radio station, after the September 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States, refused another AJC commercial. The 2001 spot stated, "Recently, The New York Times reported that in Saudi Arabia, 10th graders are warned of 'the dangers of having Christian and Jewish friends,' and in Pakistan, a million children attending religious schools are taught to "distrust and even hate the United States."

The radio station manger cited the paragraph, which was quoted from the parent company’s newspaper, as not meeting the station's standards.

Harris also said that last month, the Bloomberg radio news station rejected an AJC segment citing hate literature in children's textbooks in the Palestinian Authority (PA), Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iran.

"Everything written in this spot was verifiable," Harris said. "Yet, all this was not good enough for the station, which, without putting anything down on paper, asserted that there were some questions about what was being said."

British radio journalist Walter Bingham has launched a letter-writing campaign to WQXR urging the station to reconsider their decision.

Greatest Killer
The 20th Century has been the bloodiest century in all of history. And humanism has proven to be the most destructive religion of all time. Far more people have been killed in the name of atheism than by all other religions combined.

Historian Paul Johnson has observed that ”the 20th Century state has proved itself the great killer of all time.” The 20th Century has seen the worst atrocities ever committed. The word ”genocide”, a new term coined in the 20th Century, describes what has occurred repeatedly in secular humanist states - which had first disarmed their populations.

Darwinian evolutionism with its ”survival of the fittest” ideology has devalued human life. If man is not created in the image of God, and if there is no God in heaven Who will judge the living and the dead, if there are no objective standards of right and wrong - then life becomes cheap. When you devalue God, you devalue life.

What are people according to atheists who believe in evolution? ”A hairless ape” - Schoenberg; ”A mere insect, an ant…” - Church; ”An accidental twig” - Gould; ”A rope stretched over an abyss” - Nietzsche; ”A fungus on the surface of one of the minor planets” - Du Maurier; ”A jest, a dream, a show, bubble, air…” - Thornbury; and ”I see no reason for attributing to man a significant difference in kind from that which belongs to a grain of sand” - Oliver Wendell Holmes.

When atheism takes hold of a society, moral relativism is inevitable. Nothing is sacred. There is no objective standard of right and wrong, no God, no eternal Day of Judgement. No hope of eternal justice. Life becomes cheap.

As the existentialist writer Jean-Paul Sartre explained: ”Without God all activities are equivalent…thus it amounts to the same thing whether one gets drunk alone, or is a leader of nations.”

Historian Paul Johnson commented on the advance of atheism in modern history: ”Nietzsche wrote in 1886: ’The greatest event of recent times - that God is dead, that the belief in the Christian God is no longer tenable - is beginning to cast its first shadows over Europe.’ Ultimately the collapse of the religious impulse would leave a huge vacuum. The history of modern times is in great part the history of how that vacuum has been filled.”

The Fruit of Atheism

As Dr. James Kennedy in ”What If Jesus Had Never Been Born?” observes: ”That vacuum has been filled with the totalitarian state, the loss of freedom for millions, the concentration camp and the gulag, the rise of abortion, infanticide, euthanasia and suicide, crime out of all proportion, and the most savage wars in the history of the world.”

The triumph of secular humanism with its atheism, evolutionism and situation ethics has led to the rise of gangster statesmen such as Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Fidel Castro, Pol Pot, Robert Mugabe and many more like them.

At least 180 million people have been killed by secular governments in the 20th Century. And that is a very conservative estimate. We are not here talking about people who have died in wars caused by secular humanist states, because that would massively increase the body count. No, over 180 million people have been killed by their own secular humanist governments in the 20th Century. The greatest threat to life in the 20th Century was not firearm accidents, or crime, or even wars! More people were killed by their own governments in peace time than were killed by foreign invaders in war time.

Dr. David Barrett, editor of the massive World Christian Encyclopaedia, and author of Cosmos, Chaos and Gospel, and Our Globe and How To Reach It, has documented that Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin was responsible for killing over 40 million people. Joseph Stalin closed down over 48 000 churches, and attempted the liquidation of the entire Christian Church.

Similarly, communist dictator of China Mao Tse Tung launched the Great Proletariat Cultural Revolution, ”History’s most systematic attempt ever, by a single nation, to eradicate and destroy Christianity…” Mao was responsible for killing about 72 million people.

The communist takeover of Cambodia in 1975 resulted in the death of up to 3 million people - a full third of the total population. When we add to these the death toll of communist regimes in Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Angola, Mozambique, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Cuba, and Zimbabwe, the body count is staggering.

As Dostoevsky so eloquently put it: ”If God is dead, then all things are possible!”

The terrifying thing about secular humanist states is that there is no authority above the state to which one can make an appeal. The concept of ”inalienable rights” endowed by a Creator are of course impossible in a secular state. If the state itself is the highest authority, then there are no limits to the abuses and oppression that unrestrained human nature is capable of. The humanist state inevitably leads to tyranny and despotism.

The publication of The Black Book of Communism created a sensation. First published in French and later translated into English, the Black Book is a scholarly, detailed account of the crimes of communism, starting with the Russian Revolution and continuing through Eastern Europe, Red China, North Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Angola and Afghanistan.

At almost 900 pages long, the Black Book’s exhaustive indictment of communism is all the more compelling because all six of its authors were once communists. They are researchers, professors and journalists associated with the Paris-based Centre for the Study of History and Sociology of Communism. The editor of the Black Book of Communism, Stephane Courtois, is also the editor of the Communisme magazine.

As the foreword declares: ”Ten years ago, the authors of the Black Book would have refused to believe what they now write…” However, their ”exploration of the Soviet archives…” forced them, out of a ”duty of remembrance” to the millions of victims murdered under Marxist regimes, to ”spare a little compassion for the victims of the inhumanity so long meted out by so many of its own partisans.”

Their intention was that the Black Book serve as both history and as a memorial to those victims whose very memory had been wiped out.

In his introduction, Stephane Courtois declares: ”The fact remains that our century has outdone its predecessors in its bloodthirstiness…indeed (communism) occupies one of the most violent and most significant places of all…”

• The execution (without trial) of tens of thousands of hostages and prisoners and the murder of hundreds of thousands of workers and peasants in Russia from 1918 to 1922 under Vladimir Lenin.

• Deliberately destroying all food and crops so as to starve to death 5 million people in Russia in 1922.

•The extermination of the Cossacks in 1920.

•The liquidation of 690 000 people in the great purge of 1937 - 38.

•The destruction of 4 million Ukrainians and 2 million other people in the man-made and systematically perpetrated dekulakisation famine of 1932 - 1933.

The Black Book presents a very conservative estimate of the number of civilians murdered by Marxist regimes based on the Marxist regime’s own records: 20 million in the USSR; 65 million in Red China; 1 million in Vietnam; 2 million in North Korea; 2 million in Cambodia; 1,5 million in Afghanistan, and so on. The Black Book of Communism documents that, according to the communist regimes’ own archives, the total death toll is at least 100 million people killed by communist governments between 1917 and 1991.

”These crimes tend to fit a recognisable pattern…the pattern includes execution by…firing squads, hanging, drowning, battering, and, in certain cases, gassing, poisoning or ’car accidents’; destruction of the population by starvation, through man-made famine, the withholding of food, or both; deportation, through which death can occur in transit (either through physical exhaustion or through confinement in an enclosed space)…or through forced labour (exhaustion, illness, hunger, cold)…Thus in the name of an ideological belief system were tens of millions of innocent victims systematically butchered.”

The foreword of The Black Book declares: ”Communism has been the great story of the 20th Century. Bursting into history from the most unlikely corner of Europe amid the trauma of World War I, in the wake of the cataclysm of 1939 - 1945 it made a giant leap westward…and an even greater one eastward to the China Seas. With this feat…it had come to rule a third of mankind and seemed poised to advance indefinitely. For seven decades it haunted world politics, polarising opinion between those who saw it as the socialist end of history and those who considered it as history’s most total tyranny.”

With socialist fables of their ”worker’s paradise” now consigned to what Trotsky called ”the ash heap of history”, it has to be admitted that the secular humanist state has been ”a tragedy of planetary dimensions…the communist record offers the most colossal case of political carnage in history.”

As The Black Book documents, communist states did not merely commit criminal acts, ”they were criminal enterprises in their very essence, on principle, so to speak, they ruled lawlessly, by violence and without regard for human life.” What is also remarkable is that these atrocities were committed by regimes who claimed that they were building ”a worker’s paradise”, heaven on earth. However, rather than delivering paradise, all communism succeeded in was creating hell on earth.

There is a danger that as we list the statistics and read the mind-numbing numbers of the victims of secular states, we can be hardened. As Joseph Stalin observed: ”The death of one person is a tragedy, but the death of millions is just a statistic.” But we need to remind ourselves that these were real people, and whole families, that were maimed, mutilated and murdered.

Doan Van Toai)If we were to add to the number of those victims murdered by their own government in the 20th Century, the pre-born babies who have been killed by abortion, and those old and sick people killed by euthanasia, in secular states, the death toll would approach one billion people. That is 1000 million victims killed by secular states in the 20th Century alone.

”There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless;…their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways…” Romans 3:10 - 17

As Dr. James Kennedy observes in ”What If Jesus Had Never Been Born?” the 20th Century was ”one of mass murder, genocide and institutionalised terrorism, the fruits of that phantom faith in the secular state that persists in promising liberation even as it attacks the most fundamental human attachments.”

The bitter harvest of atheism proves that humanism is the most destructive religion in all of history. The secular state is the greatest killer ever, and secular states have made the 20th Century the bloodiest century of all time.

Is it just me or some others as confused as I am about the love Affair between the media, quite a few Americans and Barrack Obama? What I hear and read about this "new, fresh and honest" face and his inspiring rhetoric in no way matches what I see and hear when I watch him. I see and hear the same trite promises, the same arm waving assurances that he will somehow miracle up answers to the same problems he's been unable to do anything about as a U.S.Senator. He is as same old, same old as I have ever seen...except he is black. The idea he is a political outsider doesn't stand up to even cursory scrutiny. Same journey from State to Federal larder that they all take. That he is less experienced than most certainly does not give me any great sense of security. I would rather have a well trained (and tested) hand on the helm of the good ship USA. The course Obama wants' to set seems headed toward the shores of Socialism. He has stated he wants me to pay more taxes, maybe as much as sweet Hillary. Hopefully she won't be ducking anymore snipers with Chelsea. I have listened to most of Osama's major speeches and have yet to hear anything new...just the usual liberal political rhetoric. The comparison to JFK is laughable. Of course today JFK would not be a Democrat...far too conservative for today's party.

Company 'gives away' Southwest to Mexico
Vodka ad shows 'Absolut world' in which California, Arizona, others secede

A new ad for Absolut vodka reconfigures North America according to the aspirations of many Mexicans, who believe the U.S. Southwest was stolen and should be returned.

Over a redrawn map of the U.S., the ad by the Swedish Absolut Spirits Co. declares, "In an Absolut World," noted columnist and blogger Michelle Malkin.

Major Hispanic civil rights groups in the U.S., such as the National Council of La Raza, are tied to movements advocating a "reconquista," or reconquest, of territory lost when Mexico signed the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo at the end of the Mexican-American War.

Malkin points out the Mexico City-based firm that created the ad, Teran, says its philosophy is advocating "disruption" as a "tool for change" and "agent of growth." The firm encourages "overturning assumptions and prejudices that get in the way of imagining new possibilities and visionary ideas that help create a larger share of the future."

As WND reported in 2006, Rep. Charles Norwood, R-Ga., called on La Raza to renounce its support of the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan – which sees "The Race" as part of an ethnic group that one day will reclaim Aztlan, the mythical birthplace of the Aztecs. In Chicano folklore, Aztlan includes California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and parts of Colorado and Texas.

In 2002, a prominent Chicano activist and University of California at Riverside professor, Armando Navarro, told WND he believed secession is inevitable if demographic and social trends continue.

"If in 50 years most of our people are subordinated, powerless, exploited and impoverished, then I will say to you that there are all kinds of possibilities for movements to develop like the ones that we've witnessed in the last few years all over the world, from Yugoslavia to Chechnya," Navarro said.

"A secessionist movement is not something that you can put away and say it is never going to happen in the United States," he contended. "Time and history change."

Navarro said one could argue "that while Mexico lost the war in 1848, it will probably win it in the 21st century, in terms of the numbers," "But that is not a reality based on what Mexico does, it's based on what this country does," he insisted.

In a 1995 speech to Chicano activists, Navarro said demographic trends are leading to "a transfer of power" to the ethnic Mexican community in the Southwest. He notes that most studies show that within the next 20 to 30 years Latinos will comprise more than 50 percent of the population of California. This fact, and other cultural and social developments, are opening the door for "self-determination" and even "the idea of an Aztlan," he said in his speech.

“…And we’re living here in Allentown, and they’re closing all the factories down…”

Billy Joel’s famous song ‘Allentown’, released back in the 1980’s satirized the end of the road for industry in this part of the world. As someone who grew up accustomed to watching the large cranes, smokestacks and activity in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, it was a way of life. Every morning my school bus, and eventually my first car would travel along and finally cross the Lehigh River and I’d watch the trains carrying materials in, and finished products out. I passed full parking lots and busy crosswalks with men hustling to and from work. There was activity abound, often seven days a week. During the summers there were occasional picnics and even a softball league. Bethlehem Steel wasn’t so much a part of our culture as it was our culture.

My father and two uncles worked for the Company their entire working lives. Our prosperity as a family depended on the success of one company, and we were by far not alone in that regard. As a boy, I remember their solemn warnings that Bethlehem Steel would not be there for the next generation of Pennsylvania’s workers. These warnings came even before talk of modernization, tariffs, regulation and centrifugal casting permeated our dinner table discussions. It was a classic case of those on the front lines seeing the picture so much more clearly than those in the Boardroom.

Bethlehem Steel was originally conceived in 1857 when Augustus Wolfe founded the Saucona Iron Company. The company’s first years were turbulent as a financial crisis at the time brought the construction and the building of the plant to a virtual standstill. The plant was eventually finished at another site, and the company name changed to The Bethlehem Rolling Mill and Iron Company. The first rolling mill was completed in 1863, with a railroad being added in September of the same year. The company’s two principal products at that time were rails for the growing railroad infrastructure across the United States as well as armor plating for the Navy. During the 1880’s, amid growing competition from Carnegie Steel among others, the company began to lose its dominant position in the rail market, and saw its business shift more to shipbuilding.

The company assumed its more easily recognized name, Bethlehem Steel in 1899, and in 1904 Charles Schwab and Joseph Wharton (UPenn Business School founder) formed the Bethlehem Steel Corporation. With products like the wide flange and a revolutionary rolling mill, the Company asserted itself as a dominant force in US steelmaking and became a leading producer of steel to the construction industry. The company’s innovations in no small part helped to usher in the advent of the skyscraper. Bethlehem Steel products were used in prominent American landmarks such as the Empire State Building, the George Washington Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Garden, the Hoover Dam and the Chrysler Building.

America’s position of dominance in the area of heavy manufacturing was only strengthened after World War II as much of industrialized Europe and Japan lay in ruins. As these foreign nations rebuilt, however, they did so with ultramodern technology and they were able to realize efficiencies that were unattainable by domestic steel producers. From the early 1950’s through the 1980’s a significant price differential existed between American and imported steel, and Bethlehem Steel began to see its first financial losses. For whatever reason, the leadership of the company was either not interested in or not convinced of the benefits of modernization, even though it was painfully obvious to even the most casual of observers. The slide continued, and in 1991, the company exited its coal mining business. On November 18th 1995, Bethlehem Steel halted all steelmaking activity at the Bethlehem location, and for the first time in over a century South Bethlehem was cloaked in silence. Termination of shipbuilding activities came two years later, and effectively, the company ceased to exist.

Bethlehem Steel had become but another casualty of broken monetary policies that sought to hide inflationary activities by bringing cheaper imported goods into our markets. These policies were the death knell of American heavy manufacturing by and large, and even though some behemoths still hang on, it is quite obvious that the writing is on the wall. The supremacy of American manufacturing was lost to the unsustainable service economy model where Americans shuffle paper while the rest of the world produces.

Bethlehem Steel – before the commencement of demolition

Like most icons, the full impact of the steel industry both in Bethlehem and the rest of America has not been fully appreciated until the very end. It is much like that moment in time when you look back and realize that something is gone, never to be brought back. There is emptiness along the banks of the Lehigh River, but for many, that emptiness extends well beyond the torn out buildings, rusting railroad tracks and the large cranes frozen in time. It is as if we have lost a good friend. The plan now is to replace that friend with casinos and a battery of insipid consumer attractions in an attempt to paper over the loss of 100 plus years of manufacturing excellence. That’s the bad news.

The good news is that, much like nature, there are predictable ebbs and flows in economies. While for now we seem to have gone off the deep end, there will come a time when we will have to rebuild our once mighty manufacturing base. Hopefully one day soon when our children and grandchildren travel along Daly Avenue in South Bethlehem, they will see full parking lots, busy workers, cranes, and the undeniable actualization of America returning to prominence.

BIRTH OF A NATION

The Founding Fathers had a vision where individuals were allowed to use their God given freedoms to use their own creativity, their own belief systems, and their own talents to work within a Capitalist system based on the principle of freedom. This freedom extended to all aspects to each and every citizen of American life as long as it did not impair or impede on other individuals or the greater good of this nation. These freedoms and the vision our Founding Fathers had for us are now coming to a close. The abdication of the ideal known as “personal responsibility” and the application of morality in everyone’s decision making process have been delivered a fatal blow first struck some ninety-five years ago. The creation of the Federal Reserve Banking system at the behest of political idealists who wished to manage the social fabric of society as opposed to their Constitutionally mandated responsibilities were just the beginning. The series of legislative initiatives undertaken from 1910 to 1940 to complete reshape our nation under the guise of “Progressivism” was slow to come about, but it was not until this decade and the final crisis of our foolish endeavors in societal management that we shall realize the implications of that generation’s actions. Their intent was to create a system of macro economic management by government which allowed the banking system to function outside of the legal parameters of the Constitution while profiting the few and penalizing the majority for any mistakes that were made. As decades of erroneous decisions have piled up and multiplied exponentially the proverbial bill is now past due. How appropriate that a nation founded in the idealism of personal responsibility and freedom shall now depart from that path and begin a final curtain call which entails the incorporation of a vile system of Marxist theory in combination with the perversion of religion to justify the revision of our society and the behavior of it’s citizens.

Taxation Without Representation

In the 1770’s part our nation’s foundation was laid with the purpose of eliminating tyrannical leaders who impose their will without the voice of the people. The taxation of citizens to serve a “crown” was considered a barbaric relic of medieval times as serfdom was no longer accepted by “modern” society. Alas, if only old Ben Franklin could see us now. The average schmuck has been quite content for decades to accept taxation without realizing they are being taxed as it has been given the false perception of the “cost of a free society” and other such rot. Although my personal principles are somewhat Libertarian in nature, this does not mean I am advocating naked women running up and down the streets as whores like Amsterdam promotes, nor the elimination of some of the Constitutionally mandated operations of government and it’s interaction with the private citizen. Obviously it costs money to maintain the national defense, a sound judicial system and to secure a safe, consistent and fair flow of commerce. Yet the responsibilities assumed have now spread to every aspect of our lives, including and up to the examination of the sexual behavior of flies as well as the willingness or ability of each citizen to educate their children in a manner (or religious principle) that they see fit. Alas, to become a “nanny state” costs considerably more than just the income tax structure we have in place now. So what is our poor government to do?

After the 1916 income tax solution opened the door, the U.S. government and it’s minions started looking for other taxation solutions to insure that the American people were married to their ideals through the concept of entitlements. That solution did not really take hold until the Great Depression created a nation of sheep willing to accept whatever solutions were provided to insure that the average citizen always had a roof over their head, a meal, a job, a car, a Playstation III, a vacation in Cancun, etc., etc. As the real levels of taxation on corporations (who just pass it on to the customer) and citizens skyrocketed via income taxes, fees, etc. the stress on government has become so great that running a debt on an annualized basis became commonplace and once the banksters and the government figured out that the U.S. was “too big to fail” and that the average citizen would rather be fat, dumb and happy rather than worry about the consequences of their actions, the game was on.

The spending on everything and anything was acceptable and by manipulating the accounting regulations the Congress and Senate could cut deals, make huge profits for themselves via the lobbying system, and create a dependency class that could be further expanded as long as the banksters played along by assuring the public that the integrity of our markets would never be unscathed and unending sources of profit and liquidity would be available as long as everyone played along and didn’t bother to look behind the curtain. Unfortunately for the elitists, people began to peek and worse, people began to worry as the liabilities of this nation were at a staggering $20,000,000,000,000 plus in 2000 and has more than doubled to a blow-one’s-brains-out-if-you-think-about-it-too-much $53,000,000,000,000 plus now. To maintain the ability to service this debt load, much less meet the underlying obligations, the impossible task of maintaining a seven to ten percent annual GDP (oh no, GNP wasn’t good enough, it didn’t track consumer spending enough) was thrust upon the markets and with the help of our friendly neighborhood central bankster, went to work to achieve it. Add in the smoke and mirror arrangement constructed by the Federal Reserve and you can see how this is not going to have a happy ending.

So who is taxing the American citizenry that does not have the authority to do so you may ask? That requires a quick and dirty analysis of our currency and the $53 trillion (it’s too much work to type all those zeroes more than once) in debt and liabilities we now are beholden to. Since the creation of the Federal Reserve in 1913, our dollar has experienced a depreciation of about 97% from its original value. We have changed the constitutionally mandated method of issuing currency in this nation without an amendment as intended by our founding fathers. Doubt that? Well here are the exact words from our Constitution:

Section 10. No state shall enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation; grant letters of marque and reprisal; coin money; emit bills of credit; make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts; pass any bill of attainder, ex post facto law, or law impairing the obligation of contracts, or grant any title of nobility.

We have witnessed the abdication of personal responsibility in favor or servitude to the state. In this writer’s opinion, it would be fair to the currency depreciation a somewhat inflationary tax levied upon our society as well as a moral hazard. But now look at the level of debt and obligations and start thinking about that from the big picture perspective. The only way to pay off or maintain the spending levels and debt we have incurred is to monetize the debt and at a rapid pace before the rest of the world does the job of peeking behind the curtain which the American citizens refuse to do for whatever reason. Bad news Sparky; the rest of the world has taken that peek and figured out a few things:

The Federal Reserve has never been audited

The Federal Reserve has no legal liability to the customers it serves, a.k.a. the American Public

The Federal Reserve is a private corporation using policy to generate or promote monetary growth via it’s Treasury proxy. These policies often impact the consumer by destroying savings and increasing the inflation tax.

The Federal Reserve serves only the investors who own that bank, not the nation

Where as many nations have a central banking system directly accountable to legislative branch or powers restricted to the protection of the integrity of their currencies, the Federal Reserve has assumed the role of an un-elected oligarchy, which will ultimately destroy our freedoms and our nation. They are imposing an inflation tax and increasing the rate of destruction of our currency without the authority of the Constitution behind them and worse, at the expense of our citizenry to pay for decades of ignorant bliss as the party went on unimpeded. Now the bill is due and the tax rate is about to be increased dramatically as the casino on Wall Street has made so many bad bets, it requires the house to bail the players out or risk the destruction of the entire world’s financial system. This is not minor threat, but worse, it enables a far more devious threat to emerge.

So what do we have to look forward to? To get some idea, let’s take a look back into history. When Europe erupted into war in 1914, ironically enough due to an act of Islamic terrorism, the United States was caught in the middle as a neutral observer. The Federal Reserve was not a functioning entity, thanks to political delays, when the war started but the U.S. Treasury and its idealistic President were ready. Instead of allowing foreigners to sell off their holdings in the American markets, the solution was simple

Close them.

That was a dangerous game but thanks to the currency provisions of the Alrdich-Vreeland Act the domestic banking system was able to avoid a repeat of 1907 and the currency crunch and uncertainty that would ensue from having our financial markets closed. This same approach could easily be employed again today. If there is a notable or sudden liquidation of our Treasury paper or equities by foreign powers along with a sudden flight of capital from our banks the easiest solution is not to just have the Federal Reserve purchase the paper, as that would require an unrealistic sudden increase in the money supply. The gradualist approach to monetization would have to be tossed out the window causing a larger problem at a sooner point in time. That alternative is unacceptable but still on the table but could appropriately be called the “nuclear option” as it would be the hyperinflationary trigger. The short term option is obvious and it is the 1914 option. That would enable the U.S. government to save face and still maintain some faith in the stability of our economy while stopping a deflationary outflow of capital that would cause an immediate collapse of our economy. Closing the markets in the name of free market capitalism (ironic isn’t it?) is the only logical solution and whatever excuse is offered as “cover” for such an action may sound drastic, but for a short term cessation of bleeding, the only reasonable course of action. How does such an action lead to a change in our nation and just what are the consequences? Read on my friends, as this is where a new nation is born.

DEATH OF A NATION

To create a new ideal, the old one must die. The concept of America must die. There are and always have been tinkering old fools who have felt that they could “adjust” or redesign America better than the founding fathers. The aristocracy of old was greatly displeased with the balance struck in the United States Constitution but this balance served the purpose of allowing their class to excel in their goals while giving the average person to succeed without the yoke of government being worn about their necks. As the participants of and investors in the modern Fiatocracy see their empire begin to flounder, the plans to revise and redesign this nation are right there in front of us, but thanks to the conspiracy theory principle, it is dismissed as unrealistic and absurd. Despite the fact that grown men dressing up in robes and burning humans in effigy in the mouth of a burning owl has been well documented and confirmed, that does not seem to strike the sheeple as critical to our future. Yet as this writer types this, these same individuals have ownership in the Federal Reserve, ownership of some of our largest financial and corporate institutions, or meet now behind closed doors to discuss the “rumored but documented” NAFTA superhighway as they are able to work in the open without scrutiny and without the authority allegedly given to the citizens of this nation in the Constitution. This is not a good sign and indicates that our nation is well on its way to passing into history as a memory.

The ability to create any new ideals or “modifications” as they shall be called, to our current system requires a breaking point, or death of the nation. There are two methods to achieve this goal and either might be acceptable but one is obviously much more practical. The first method is simply to involve a nation in an idealistic but costly war which slaughters millions of it’s citizens thus reducing the economic needs and re-balancing the supply demand curve in favor of the profiteers and political class where the numbers are much more manageable. This method is of course costly and if carried to extreme in this modern society, the physical damage to actual attacks on the homeland could put the power elite into the same risk strata as the citizens they wish to enslave. The second and most obvious solution is to bankrupt the people, not just the nation. Eliminate the financial capacity of a citizenry to survive and you own them. In the days of yore, the monarchy would simply offer an opportunity to survive by allowing the serfs to live on the land in exchange for the offerings a large percentage of the crops leaving the serfs just enough to survive. This virtual enslavement allowed one class to survive while another prospers. And this lesson in population and economic management has never been lost on the elites in society.

BIRTH OF A NATION

With the plan currently being enacted, the question becomes “What kind of nation will we look like in 20 years?” I fear we could become as drastic a head case as the 1970’s Soviet Union or worse a perpetual model of France combined with the ethnic problems of the Balkans. The withdrawal of the needle from the arm of America via the long-term extraction of capital infusion from foreign powers will leave our standard of living flailing at best and careening into levels unseen in this nation in over one hundred and fifty years if we are lucky. The inability of our society to pay its debt off at all levels and work towards self-sufficiency will create the grand political opportunity that only arrives in history maybe once every two or three centuries. This political opportunity or “third way” as it so often promoted will unfortunately allow the elitists to explode on to the scene denigrating the primitive nature and thought processes of our founding fathers and in the desperation of the moment, the citizenry will bleat right into an automatic acceptance of the changes as a “savior” of their society and the classes of people unable to cope with cyclical economic change. The new Socialism will neither call itself that nor ever openly use the terminology of the works of Marx or Lenin. The test case for this ideology is well under way in the form of Communist China attempting a mix of corporatism, communism and fascism while maintaining the illusion of free market capitalism. The theory that has been promoted over and over again by multinationals and our socialist infested State Department is that “free market capitalism promotes democracy” but in Communist China, it promotes enslavement. There are no free elections there nor truly free markets. There is no desire to allow open competition for the development of and expansion of goods and services without some degree of state control. The profits are guaranteed to insure a large percentage of funds to be allocated to increasing the ability of the military class to expand and dominate the region and the society as a whole. In the case of the United States, the military dominance is unquestioned, but the thumb of the political class does not have the reach of the Central Committee in Beijing yet. By allowing the crisis to worsen or better yet, accelerating the impacts of such a crash, much like what was accomplished in the 1930’s under FDR, the birth of a new nation can be completed under the demands of the very people who are to be enslaved. With so much of our population now dependent on government largesse, this process will be frighteningly easy to achieve.

OH AUGUSTUS, WHERE ART THO

There is but one hope and believe it or not it is in the mirror. Go look at it. And pray hard for a miracle. In Roman times after the period of the Civil Wars, there was a desire that such a great empire, militarily over-extended and rooted in democratic principles would end their infighting and bring stability back to their people at home. The citizens hoped a return to a virtuous democratic society would win out over the old ways. When Emperor Augustus took power in 31 BC, it enabled a period of relative stability and economic growth to ensue. The Empire of Rome became unified, formidable and expansive once again without the drag of the Republic’s pesky democratic principles. Unfortunately it created a new fascistic monarchy, which demonstrated its brutality and ability to dominate its citizenry and neighbors on a regular basis. It is this writer’s fear that while history may not repeat; the duplication of human foolishness will allow this to occur again. We must, as a society, pray that as the Third Way takes hold over our society that someone will take a stand against the elimination of the U.S. Constitution and the ideals of Jefferson and Hamilton. That someone will have to be a person of considerable power on the inside and willing to wear the Judas label and betray the new elite when and if they make their move. Let us hope this is a man or woman of principle and does not have a sale price like much of our society. Let us pray this happens before the title “Imperator” becomes part of our lexicon, much like the phrase novus ordo has already been accepted, denied and ignored by the masses. The consequences of failing to stop this “new order” from taking hold, as seen in history, will be fatal.

For thirty years, I have been writing, speaking, imploring, and begging others to make rational, concrete plans for a time in life that would offer no quarter, give no mercy, and that would in a word be--catastrophic. We are coming face to face with that moment. You have so little time left to do anything that will give you a fighting chance. What are you doing?

National Guard units are training and preparing for urban combat. The United States has just reached an agreement with Canada’s armed forces to come in to this country and assume combat roles should they be needed in American cities and towns. The Federal Reserve’s last ditch effort to stem the “blood loss” in the sub-prime and other currency markets has failed. The dollar has been abandoned for Euros. The stock market can’t find its ass with both hands and a Chinese made, Wal-Mart sold ass finder. Israel has demanded that all of the financial aid it receives from Washington (that’s us) be paid for in Euros. The ultimate irony and slap in the face. Oil, dairy, wheat, wheat products, gold, silver, copper prices, the list goes on and on, are racing for the stratosphere with no end in sight. An implosion has begun and it has no known method of stopping or reversing until critical mass is reached. It will be followed by an explosion in the economy and the political realm unseen since the founding of this nation.

The ultimate tragedy is, this was preventable. It could have been slowed or reversed at any time if a courageous and morally upright Congress had revealed the root causes for the disaster. If the socialist “generals” in Congress had been defeated or at least their programs thrown out at the time of their introduction, billions would have been saved. If the truth and our first president, General George Washington’s advice had been followed, every conflict since WWII would have been avoided. During the past 60 years, 120,000 American soldiers would have survived, 500,000 would have been physically uninjured, and two trillion in direct costs and the rehabilitation money grants to former enemies would have been saved.

The size of the federal government would be less than half of what it is today, the budget of the US government would be about 500 billion as opposed to two and one half trillion on a yearly basis and we would most likely be at relative peace. Lack of foolish and unnecessary regulations, taxes, and frivolous lawsuits, would have allowed an explosion of small businesses to thrive. The lack of a Federal Reserve System would have allowed the United States to remain a creditor nation based on assets rather than suffering under a crushing debt imposed by the feds dictatorial control over the people’s treasury. There are so many reasons why we could have avoided all of this. Thousands of perfectly good reasons IF employed by thousands of honest, moral, representatives who simply could have done the citizen’s business the way God and sound governmental practices demanded ---would have, should have, and could have made the critical difference.

Instead, we saw year after year, decade after decade, and now century after century of greed, bring ultimate ruin to this marvelous nation called America. Although we did not want it, we have allowed it to happen. It resolves nothing and does not buy us a way out, but we must accept our responsibility for this debacle and now prepare for what is coming.

Friends, you must begin NOW if you have not done so, to protect yourselves and your family from this pending---as the disaster movies call it---“extinction level event” for our former way of life. If you hesitate, you will be caught in the maelstrom that is the next six months to five years of life in the US. Pick your poison. If you like global warming and believe that is going to do you in, well then, build a refrigerated secure basement. If you like the Planet X scenario, then prepare for 800 mph winds and basically a “pole shift” that will leave nothing at all. If you live in a nuclear target city, or worse yet (worse??) yes, in a sanctuary city, then get out and get out quickly. Here is what you must do.

Consider geography carefully. I don’t care where you live now, choose your “Ride & Hide” (ride it out and hide from the enemy—you pick ‘em) location with great wisdom. Coasts are bad, arid regions are bad, rural northern and mountainous regions are the best. Why? Fewer people mean fewer morons to deal with. Weather considerations, wild game availability, timber resources, fresh water, tillable soil, survival off the utility grid is doable, herding small numbers of livestock is possible, also grazing horses can be kept. Being at least 50 miles from the nearest interstate or major highway is preferable, the same with commercial airports and nuke plants. Holing up with really close friends or family is the ultimate best so that expenses, work loads and practical skills are shared to your best advantage. Be ready to leave your city home with only one or two hours alert time. You may not even have that. Practice getting home, loading, and leaving at least once. Notify only those in your group that would be affected. Tell no one else what you are doing. Keep your gas tank full and an extra 5-10 gallons.

Securing the land with a rugged structure(s) and reinforced underground shelter can be expensive, however; it is an absolute. Stocking that domicile with stores of enduring foods, food components (flour, raw sugar, yeast, salt, etc.) medicines or natural remedies (apple vinegar, honey, olive leaf extract, etc.) an electric generator and at least 500 gallons of diesel, 100 gallons of kerosene for lamps, tools-------you know the drill. There are many sites available to assist you in stockpiling long term necessities right at NWV.

You will be happy to know that your government in Washington has assisted these efforts to protect your family from ANY kind of disaster by making it a felony to harbor many items (as listed in the Patriot Act II). You know, be wise, be prepared, but if you go more than a week’s worth, we’ll put you in one of 800 non-existent Halliburton model “stay for a while, we’ll leave the lights on ” Washington style long term family “vacation” detention campsites built with illegal or prison labor, right here in the good old US of A.

Moving your money freely will become even more difficult as banks begin to restrict the amounts that can be transferred from savings accounts and other short-term investment vehicles under their immediate control. Using personal checks outside of your own community will become increasingly difficult, soon. Bank drafts or money orders will do for a while, but many real estate, large business or supply companies will require that you jump over difficult hurdles so that they are not left to chase you down for payment.

Securing advance amounts of medical supplies, especially prescriptions and antibiotics (Tami flu, Amoxicillin, Keflexin, etc.) will be very difficult as most insurance companies will only reimburse for 30 days or less. If you have any serious dental issues, (abscessed teeth), surgeries, glasses or other necessary medical needs, get them done, now.

Consider transferring available 401K, IRA accounts, or other liquid plans into gold or silver before their availability or price are literally beyond reach. A penalty for withdrawal is not desirable, but highly preferable to empty or inaccessible accounts next month or whenever.

Have GPS chips removed from your newer vehicles, laptops if possible, and prepare to leave your cell phones in the lake 100 miles from your retreat. Leave your ID chipped pets at the humane society and any animals you raise for food consumption must be newly born and chip free (many good patriots are telling the state and federal USDA to, well, you know, but that won’t last much longer as most states are going into compliance regardless of what the law says, the constitution says, common sense says or what God himself says. The same is true with the REAL ID. That card is also becoming, state by state, the final nail in the coffin of personal liberty. Consider it the mark of the beast (I don’t know if it is, but it could be). The personal ID chip is without a doubt that mark, I personally believe. I will not UNDER ANY CICUMSTANCES take that chip, no matter what it ultimately costs me. That is why, among many reasons listed here, common sense and the urgency that is coming at you like the freight train from Hell, you must complete your personal retreat plans, NOW.

Are you getting the picture dear friends? Laugh at me if you will. Marginalize me and others who are begging you to make this effort while you can, but hear this: IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN A CITY OR WITHOUT THE MOST BASIC OF NEEDS, YOU WILL NOT SURVIVE A CRISES.

That is the absolute truth and the absolute facts of life. You will be among the first victims of the event or its immediate aftermath. Roving gangs of real pirates and sadistic tormentors will only seal your fate in a most cruel fashion.

Ask yourself this single question. What do you have now that is so worth keeping (suburb mortgaged home, SUV, boat, hockey equipment, a JOB that is killing you, etc.) over your life and that of your family? Is your morning cup of Starbucks worth this effort? For God’s sake, WAKE UP!! If you haven’t really cared who or what the Federal Reserve is, well, don’t worry about it now. Just get your money out and do something with it while you can. If you haven’t followed the presidential debates, then don’t watch them now, either. Decide for yourself what you are going to do for your family and this nation by becoming independent and “free” in spite of this and the world government’s absolute determination to rule you completely and forever. Can you let go of football and beer long enough to answer that single question? I’m ready, some of you are ready, many of you are not. If you refuse to get ready, then I bid you farewell. You were never my fellow countryman to begin with. God help you.

Your last consideration must be in terms of self-defense. This will draw the ire of many morons who were just waiting for this. To you, I say, don’t ever buy a gun. You would only eventually supply a criminal with one more weapon. To everyone else, think shotgun, first. A 12 gauge, 20 inch rifled barrel chambered for 3” shells. Buy at least 1000 rounds of OO Buckshot for defense, 1000 rounds of slugs for large game, and 1000 rounds of #6 shot for small game and birds. These are all round good loads for most situations. Professional hunters may argue a bit, but I tell you from experience hunting and in law enforcement, this will do it. The make of the weapon is your choice, but I would stick with Remington or Mossberg as my first pick. There are others, check with a reputable sporting store to assist you. A Ruger .22 rifle and a 1000 rounds will do for quieter small game. A .308 and 500 rounds will do for long range whatever you need to do shooting—if you get my drift.

A Ruger Mini-14 rancher model chambering .223 with several 20 or 30 round clips and 1000 rounds will be good for when you are outnumbered, and a .45 Government model Kimber or Springfield Armory pistol with 10, 10 round clips and 1000 rounds will do you well. That’s roughly $4500 worth of weaponry. Cheap in defense of all that you have. A good four wheeled vehicle of any kind for off road use rounds you out. I’m pretty good at spending your money, hmm? Forget the vacation that would have cost you that anyway. Forget the new $50,000 truck that you just couldn’t live without. You will LIVE if you use that money wisely. You have just weeks or a few months—MAYBE—to be positioned for any possibility. Natural or manmade. If I am wrong, sell it in a couple of years to someone who still sees the need and you’ll be free to be at risk again.

This is the article that many of you have been pleading with me to write for over six months. I did not want to present it prematurely and yet it’s anybody’s guess as to when it will be too late. There is a risk for the writer of such messages. The risk is that many will still ignore it, stick their heads in a little deeper or laugh nervously as they dismiss the content with, “he’s a typical right-wing worrier, this just can’t happen.” Well, I pray to God Almighty you are right and I am wrong. But then again, no matter what happens, I’m ready, my family and I have a good chance………………..are you ready, do you have any chance at all?

Moscow, Feb 23: After 2012-2015, the US will be able to annihilate Russian strategic nuclear forces by a non-nuclear pre-emptive strike.

''I declare that the likelihood of a military threat is great as never before now,'' Mr Konstantin Sivkov, the first vice-president of the Russian Academy of Geopolitical Problems, told Interfax AVN military news agency today.

Mr Sivkov said Western military experts had recently started to talk about the possibility of attacking Russia and annexing its territory.

''Russia is supposed to be dismembered into three parts, with the Western part going to the European Union, the central part and Siberia to the US, and the eastern to China,'' he said, adding that ''This is a rough scenario''.

Russian armed forces would be unable to successfully counter an aggression, he noted.

''At present, the conventional armed forces cannot properly perform their duties in a regional war, like the Great Patriotic War, even in theory,'' he pointed out.

''Even if fully deployed, their potential is limited even in local wars. The only factor that deters the US now is the nuclear arsenal, '' Mr Sivkov said.

The dominant discourse in the mainstream media, show business and universities in the USA today is so frankly anti-American that it is only in details of style - if that - that it can be distinguished from the defamation campaigns undertaken by the USSR in the 50s and 60s. The American elite boasts of having won the Cold War, but it seems as if it was dominated psychologically by the vanquished enemy and wound up believing everything the enemy said against it. The posthumous vengeance of the Soviets gleams in the pages of the New York Times, at prime time on CBS, and in the films by Michael Moore and George Clooney with a splendor that not even Willi Muenzenberg, the genius of communist disinformation, would have dared dream of.

Whatever is said against the American government, against the American military, and against American culture, seems to enjoy automatic credibility today, so much so that it can be shouted from the rooftops without the least fear of an exasperated response, to the extent that any pro-American word must be prefaced with politically correct precautions for fear of the inevitable and vociferous retaliation, if not of a lawsuit. To follow the American debate is to confirm daily the prophetic sense of the verse by William Butler Yeats: "the best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity." Something has changed radically in the heart of America in the second half of the 20th century, and has changed precisely in the direction in which the country's bitterest enemies would have wanted it to change.

How was this possible? The agents of change want us to believe that it was all a spontaneous, natural and inevitable process, lending the course of the transformation the authority of an impersonal historic law that only the small minded reactionary would dare to question. But many years ago I realized that impersonal laws of history are almost always mere camouflage for human actions that want to pass unperceived so that their effects take on an aura of divine mystery.

The change that weakened the American soul was precipitated by three major disinformation operations that, because they were launched from Washington and not from Moscow, managed to deceive the entire nation and forge a new "common sense" (in the Gramscian sense of the word), whose influence not even the most conservative and patriotic completely escape. On these three occasions, the lies carefully elaborated by the government itself to cast onto the United States the blame for the malicious actions of its enemies not only became official truth, uniformly repeated today by the media and the education system, but spread around the world, creating the monstrously deformed image that today feeds and legitimizes anti-American hatred everywhere. It may seem absurd that government officials would choose to participate in the defamation of their own country to avoid problems with the USSR or to save their own electoral image, but that is exactly what three American presidents did, two of which, ironically, are portrayed by leftist rhetoric as exemplary embodiments of anti-communism and "Yankee imperialism."

The three operations were conceived in the high spheres of the Democratic Party, but at least one of them had intense Republican collaboration. Three recently published books, one of which I already commented on here and the other I mentioned in passing, finally reveal what happened behind the scenes on these occasions, the incredible machinations of politicians and journalists, who for the sake of short-term gains, unhesitatingly favored the enemy and bequeathed to future generations an increasingly morally weakened country.

The first of these episodes was the operation carried out by the Truman administration — and faithfully pursued by Eisenhower — to deny or cover up the massive presence of Soviet agents in high posts of the American government, particularly in the State Department, and also in technical and administrative functions, where they had access to secret information of a military nature.

This story is told in detail with extensive documentation by M. Stanton Evans in "Black Listed by History. The Untold Story of Senator Joseph MacCarthy and His Fight against America's Enemies," New York, Crown forum 2007. If you can't read the book, you can listen to a good resume presented by the author at the Heritage Foundation, with a commentary by Herbert Rommerstein, the one personally responsible for major investigations into Soviet infiltration in the USA (see Blacklisted by History: The Untold Story of Senator Joe McCarthy).

To get an idea of the strategic risks involved in this situation, suffice to say that practically the entire tone of North American policy in China during the communist revolution was set on the basis of reports fabricated by Soviet agents who infiltrated the American diplomatic service in Beijing. By means of prodigious falsifications, these agents managed to persuade the Washington government to withhold needed aid from their ally Chiang Kai-shek and support the communist troops of Mao Zedong, who without this would never have managed to overthrow the Chinese government and install the bloodiest of genocidal dictatorships the world had ever known. American Ambassador Patrick Hurley saw through the ruse and warned Washington in time, but his messages were ignored. Feeling sullied, Hurley asked to be relieved of his post and was replaced by General George Marshall, who believed in these stories as if they had been revealed gospel. Marshall was not procommunist, obviously, but if his behavior in this case was not a clear-cut example of what Eric Voegelin called "criminal stupidity," I don't know what could fit that category. Following the record genocide of 70 million people, the Chinese government, having accumulated atomic bombs with the money generously supplied by American investors, is today the number one security risk for the USA.

Alerted to these and other innumerable cases of Soviet infiltration, the Truman administration opted to kill the messenger, and did everything it could to give the impression that the only serious danger for America was anti-communism, particularly that of Senator Joe McCarthy, whose demonized image still remains vivid in world memory. To obtain this result, Harry Truman's shock troops unhesitatingly covered up the essential documents, which, revealed only now, show that, in essence, all the accusations made by McCarthy were true and even modest in comparison to the real dimensions of the problem. Besides suppressing evidence and protecting itself behind false testimonies, the Truman administration, instead of dismissing the suspects, preferred to support their careers, enabling them to rise in the hierarchy and continue offering services to the Soviet dictatorship with American taxpayer money.

An entire culture of anti-McCarthyism, supported by textbooks, cinema and journalism, grew out of this enterprise of intentional falsification. The consequences of this extend to the present day, making Americans, repenting of sins they never committed against communists, sense greater fear of a possible "return to the McCarthy era" than of a joint assault of Chinese generals and Islamic radicals.

I see the second episode of the series when Lee Harvey Oswald killed President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Not only the White House but also the CIA and the FBI knew that Oswald was a fanatical communist and that his intention in shooting Kennedy was to frustrate any American initiative against Fidel Castro's dictatorship. Chilled at the prospects of a national outbreak of anti-Communist revolt targeting the Democratic Party and reviving suspicions of the Harry Truman era, President Lyndon Johnson did what he could to turn the attention of the Warren Commission away from this sensitive point, explaining Oswald's crime not as the result of his ideological convictions but of generic motivations such as emotional instability, family problems, etc. As unbelievable as it seems, the commission agreed to analyze the most famous political homicide of the 20th century without mentioning politics. Coming to the president's aid, the chic media and enlightened intellectuals then produced a copious literature of pseudo-sociological claims that placed the blame for the crime on the "American culture of violence" and other vapid generalities which, in their final conclusion, were laid to the charge of conservatives. The anti-American discourse of the new left, which was then starting to gain prominence, thus received powerful backing from the very government of Washington at which it directed its hysterical eloquence. This discourse wound up incorporating itself in "common sense," to the point that today it is routinely repeated by the mainstream media without anyone noticing anything out of place. The book that described this enormous psychological mutation that was born in the highest spheres in Washington and spread throughout the American culture is Camelot and the Cultural Revolution. How the Assassination of John F. Kennedy Shattered American liberalism, by James Pierson (New York, Encounter Books, 2007).

The biggest irony in all of this is that Lee Oswald, a convert to communism since adolescence, could in no way be considered representative of the reactionary trends supposedly responsible for the "American violence" that would have prompted him to homicide, much less the fanatical Palestinian Sirhan Sirhan, who in 1968, assassinated the ex-president's brother, Robert Kennedy. It is not by coincidence that we now know Yasser Arafat's Palestinian Authority was from head to toe a brainchild of the KGB (http://www.weizmann.ac.il/home/comartin/israel/pacepa-wsj.html), but at the time, this tireless myth factory of the leftist elite was able to make two crimes committed by procommunist agents against two notoriously anti-Communist politicians appear to be the handiwork of the "reactionary right," and to have this rigorously inverted version of reality embed itself in the American psyche so deeply that it would take many decades to uproot it, if indeed it were at all possible.

The third big lie, also definitively incorporated in the rituals of America's pseudo-moralistic masochism was also the work of Lyndon Johnson. After having hampered the action of American troops in Vietnam by all possible means, Johnson drew the logical conclusion from his own strategy, transfiguring the victory into a defeat. On January 31, 1968, the North Vietnamese army of Ho Chi Minh launched a major offensive against the Americans and South Vietnamese. The idea was to occupy all at once the cities of South Vietnam, starting with the capital, Saigon, instigating a general uprising with the help of Vietcong fighters. Militarily, the offensive was a monumental failure. The Communists lost, in a few days, 50,000 soldiers and all the objectives that they had conquered. Even the famous attack on the American embassy in Saigon was a failure. Not a single Vietcong was able to enter the building — they all died at the gate. Meanwhile, since the American army followed the standard procedure for such occasions, quickly evacuating the civil servants by means of helicopters on the embassy rooftop, the images of the evacuation were shown on American TV as evidence of general panic and a sure sign of the imminent defeat of South Vietnam. When President Johnson saw these scenes being interpreted this way by veteran TV news commentator Walter Cronkite, he reasoned "if I've lost Cronkite I've lost the nation." The North Vietnamese commander, General Giap, showed how right that was when he admitted that his main weapon against South Vietnam was the American media. By endorsing the legend of the American defeat, Johnson brought down on his country a humiliation that the elegant media and prattling intellectuals have been celebrating incessantly since then as a just punishment meted out to the reactionary, fanatical and violent people who persecuted innocents in the MacCarthy era and assassinated two Kennedys…

Only now, with the first volume of the book consecrated to the Vietnam War by historian Mark Moyar is the reality of the victory artificially disguised as a defeat beginning to appear. Read 'Triumph Forsaken. The Vietnam War 1954-1964? (Cambridge University press, 2006).

No other country in the world has had as many traitors per square mile as the USA. All of the anti-American mythology circulating in the world originated in Washington and New York — with nothing more than initial light shoves him from the KGB. The fact that the USA managed to survive such devastating lies hurled against the country by its own government officials and its most renowned intellectual leaders is something that can be explained only by the residual persistence of the people's fondness for American traditions. It is true that we Brazilians need not come to North America to learn about a good people governed by swindlers. But the nagging question in my mind is whether these swindlers in Brazil would have risen as high as they did without the aid of the swindlers in Washington.

Generally Speaking (Again)

And I thought the last election seemed to last forever...this one seems to have lasted longer and it's just starting. And look at our choices; a one term Senator with no practical experience , a non record in the Senate and a stated socialist agenda that promises to drive even more US companies overseas (whether east or west). An X first lady who has been elected in a extremely liberal State more for her sufferage as the most cheated on wife in modern times than anything she has actually accomplished...her stated agenda is more socialist than his. And the Republican is an Ex prisoner of war with a long and strong record (in the earlier years) that in the recent past has veered left to a point that has joined his name with many of the most socialist liberals in the Senate. This will leave us with a poor choice at best for our leader this next four years.
Where are the great Americans? Where is a Washington or a Lincoln or a JFK or a Regan? I see nothing now but professional politicans with their own personal power and advancment at heart. How many 20+ year Senators do we have? Who is the last Senator you can remember that left office other than due to to retirement or disgrace? And either way they receive more money than almost any other American. The House record is a little better...very little.
Another interesting aspect of our modern policital scene is the sheer amount in dollars that are spent on elections...billions (much of it tax money) invested in positions that earn only hundreds of thousands. Try to think of a business (outside our Government) that spends far more on its existance than it can ever hope to earn from it ...and how long that business could survive. Go figure. JT

One tends to become jaded by the long hours, lack of sleep, food, family contact and the endless parade of human suffering passing before you. The arrival of another ambulance does not mean more pay, only more work. Most often, it is a victim from a motor vehicle crash. Often it is a person of dubious character who has been shot or stabbed. With our large military retiree population, it is often a nursing home patient. Even with my enlisted service and minimal combat experience in Panama, I have caught myself groaning when the ambulance brought in yet another sick, elderly person from one of the local retirement centers that cater to military retirees. I had not stopped to think of what citizens of this age group represented. I saw "Saving Private Ryan." I was touched deeply. Not so much by the carnage, but by the sacrifices of so many. I was touched most by the scene of the elderly survivor at the graveside, asking his wife if he'd been a good man. I realized that I had seen these same men and women coming through my Emergency Dept. and had not realized what magnificent sacrifices they had made. The things they did for me and everyone else that has lived on this planet since the end of that conflict are priceless.

Also, there was this long retired Colonel, who as a young officer had parachuted from his burning plane over a Pacific Island held by the Japanese. Now an octogenarian, he had a minor cut on his head from a fall at his home where he lived alone. His CT scan and suturing had been delayed until after midnight by the usual parade of high priority ambulance patients. Still spry for his age, he asked to use the phone to call a taxi, to take him home, then he realized his ambulance had brought him without his wallet. He asked if he could use the phone to make a long distance call to his daughter who lived 7 miles away. With great pride we told him that he could not, as he'd done enough for his country and the least we could do was get him a taxi home, even if we had to pay for it ourselves. My only regret was that my shift wouldn't end for several hours, and I couldn't drive him myself. I was there the night MSgt. Roy Benavidez came through the Emergency Dept for the last time. He was very sick. I was not the doctor taking care of him, but I walked to his bedside and took his hand. I said nothing. He was so sick, he didn't know I was there. I'd read his Congressional Medal of Honor citation and wanted to shake his hand. He died a few days later. The gentleman who served with Merrill's Marauders, the survivor of the Bataan Death March, the survivor of Omaha Beach the 101 year old World War I veteran the former POW held in frozen North Korea, the former Special Forces medic - now with non-operable liver cancer the former Viet Nam Corps Commander. I remember these citizens I may still groan when yet another ambulance comes in, but now I am much more aware of what an honor it is to serve these particular men and women. I have seen a Congress who would turn their back on these individuals who've sacrificed so much to protect our liberty. I see later generations that seem to be totally engrossed in abusing these same liberties, won with such sacrifice. It has become my personal endeavor to make the nurses and young enlisted medics aware of these amazing individuals when I encounter them in our Emergency Dept. Their response to these particular citizens has made me think that perhaps all is not lost in the next generation. My experiences have solidified my belief that we are losing an incredible generation, and this nation knows not what it is losing. Our uncaring government and ungrateful civilian populace should all take note.

We should all remember that we must "Earn this."

Since the start of the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan, the sacrifice has been enormous. In the time period from the invasion of Iraq in March 2003 through today, we have lost over 3,000 military personnel to enemy action and accidents.

As tragic as the loss of any member of the US Armed Forces is, consider the following statistics: The annual fatalities of military members while actively serving in the armed forces from 1980 through 2006:

And, I was even more confused; when I read that in 1980, during the reign of President (Nobel Peace Prize winner) Jimmy Carter, there were 2,392 US military fatalities!

These figures indicate that many members of our Media and our Politicians will pick and choose. They present only those "facts" which support their agenda-driven reporting. Why do so many of them march in lock-step to twist the truth? Where do so many of them get their marching-orders for their agenda?

Our Mainstream Print and TV media, and many Politicians like to slant that these brave men and women, who are losing their lives in Iraq, are mostly minorities! Wrong AGAIN just one more media lie!

The latest census, of Americans, shows the following distribution of American citizens, by Race:

Waving goodbye to America as I knew it. Pt. 1

I sit here today a stranger in a strange land. This is a difficult situation for anyone, anywhere, made worse I think, by the fact that I am in my house, in my country. Still it is true. I look around each day and wonder who are those people in D.C. (the capitol), where did the professors at our universities come from, why is 90% of all entertainment,(t.v. , movies and music) purely and simply garbage? Not just trash, much of it seems to be designed to undermine, ridicule, or erase everything that made this country great in the first place. At the universities the young people are fed a steady dose of anti-American propaganda that would make Joseph Stalin, Osama bin laden, Mao Zedong, and Mahmoud Ahmadinegad proud. If you don't know who those people are you are an example of our pitiful education system, or simply too busy living out the I've gotta have it now American shopper mentality.
That leads me to another observation, everyone is in debt. It didn't used to be this way. In today's America the average family debt includes; mortgage on home, loans on 1 sometimes 2 autos, various credit cards with cumulative balances around 9,000 dollars, and many families have loans on things like RVs or other recreational toys. Contrast that with our grandparents generation, the people that survived the depression, fought and won, world war 2. They did not like debt, They saved money and made a down payment on their home. If they had 2 cars one was a paid off used car. If they used credit cards at all they usually paid them off monthly. I almost forgot, get this, they had money in the bank!

Gun Control

Listen to this statement and ask yourself who made it: "This year will go down in history. For the first time a civilized nation has full gun registration. The street will be safer, the police more efficient and the world will follow our lead into the future." That was spoken by Adolf Hitler, on April 15, 1935.
The Turkish Ottoman Empire established gun control in 1911. It then proceeded to exterminate 1 and a half million Armenians from 1914 to 1917.
The Soviet Union established gun control in 1929. Subsequently, from 1928 to 1953, 60 million dissidents were imprisoned and then exterminated.
China enacted gun control laws in 1935. After the communist takeover, from 1948 to 1952, 20 million Chinese, unable to defend themselves, were murdered.
Nazi Germany fully established gun control in 1938. That helped the government to round up 13 million defenseless Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, mentally ill and impaired human beings. Many were imprisoned in concentration camps, then destroyed.
Guatemala passed gun control laws in 1964. Then, from 1964 to 1981, 100,000 defenseless Mayan Indians were exterminated.
Uganda established gun control measures in 1970. Predictably, from 1971 to 1979, 300,000 defenseless Christians met a similar fate.
Cambodia established gun control measures in 1956. Subsequently, from 1957 to 1977, 1 million Cambodians met their deaths.
Our Founding Fathers had good reason to include in the Constitution "the right for each citizen to bear arms." They came to this country with vivid memories of what an all-powerful government could do to its defenseless citizens.

And with thunderous applause, Kudlow is having a Cramergasm, and the banksters all rubbing their hands like Mr. Potter from “It’s a Wonderful Life”, Bush announced the most obvious, stupid and mindless nonsense since Carter threatened the Soviet Union for invading Afghanistan. The original “Contract With America” was a noble idea but as usual the political class had no clue and the American people have been in revolt and disgust ever since the politicians betrayed their trust. So now, a new “CONtract on America” has been developed where those who play by the rules will once again donate their hard earned future earnings to cover for those who have no self-responsibility and no shame. While this blanket statement probably should not apply to all of the subprime “victims” we see paraded on the news every stinking night now, the majority fit this rule. And we are being conned again by the political and financial elites.

The idea that people who can not afford their mortgages when their variable rate mortgages increase can be bailed out because the government urged the banksters to “freeze” the adjustable rate increases is so preposterous, so ignorant, and so Hooverian (my word, better give me credit for using it) that the American people who needed hope will soon find out that they have been given more of the same. Banksterism 101 teaches you that the local banker is no longer your primary contact for doing business when it comes to your sub-prime mortgage issues, that the government will eventually bail you out, and that those pesky eviction and auction notices on your door are just legal fluffernuttery to be ignored until Momma and Papa government come to save you. A funny thing happened though on the road to recovery, salvation and keeping your dog Fluffy playing in the backyard; someone forgot that dirty word “qualifications” in the mainstream financial media and the proclamation that 250,000 homeowners might save their homes is such wonderful news, the fact that another 2.5 million might lose theirs has been lost in the Fast Money ticker of joy and happiness. You see, reality is the one thing people refuse to confront and wow, this plan does everything to avoid confronting reality and guaranteeing that the banksters get those Christmas bonuses and a chance to pump and dump their holdings before the house of cards collapses.

Today’s announcement claimed once again, falsely, that the “mortgage crisis” is nothing but a subprime issue. The reality is that the majority of the problems are now growing in the heart of the middle class where Alt-A, traditional jumbo, Option-ARM’s and just regular good old prime mortgages are in trouble. Toss in a dose of home equity defaults, credit card defaults and auto loan delinquencies and you have the formula for a complete meltdown of the entire financial system. While the mainstream media has kept their focus on the residential housing dilemma, the commercial real estate market is following suit. The word is that “gasp” there really is an economic slowdown and a lot of commercial real estate is going unsold, unfinished and unpaid for. This is creating an entirely new aspect for the government to bail folks out. And that’s where the problem in the solution lies. The issue that most people are willing and sadly somewhat eager to overlook is that a mortgage is a binding contract between two private parties, be they an individual and a bank or a business and financier. History is replete with people and companies who lost fortunes or found misfortune because they failed to read or failed to hire someone to read and interpret a contract. Yet the people who did not plan, the banksters who approved obviously falsified application information (like all those SSN’s of 000-00-0000), and those voters who insisted they could make the payments for two or three years even though their Cadillac Escalade monthly payments were equal to or in excess of their housing payments are all now screaming to breach the basic tenets of contract law. That’s reassuring as hell for a capitalist economy now, isn’t it?

Sadly, there is a precedent for the actions taken today and a reason why the banksters were so willing to accommodate, at least in a photo-op sort of way, the wishes of the political class to sooth the ruffled feathers and prevent the photo ops of single moms having their Christmas trees dragged to the curb on the 24th of this month with six crying kids from their $700,000 home which she got on a subprime ARM with a real income of $40,000 per year (not including government assistance). They bought time, and that’s all for now. But the banksters knew they had no options as on January 8, 1934 the United States Supreme Court voted 5-4 in the case of Home Building & Loan Association v. Blaisdell which upheld a patently anti-capitalist law which the state of Minnesota passed in 1933 called the “Minnesota Mortgage Moratorium Law” which was an attempt to provide protection to farmers and homeowners “during the continuance of the emergency and in no event beyond 1 May 1935.” Needless to say the banksters of the time were furious about this and found their test case but much to their shock and surprise the court shot them down and thus initiated the ideal that government supersedes contract law at will or for the alleged national economic good. The decision included this stunning commentary from Chief Justice Hughes:

“[T]he question is no longer merely that of one party to a contract as against another, but of the use of reasonable means to safeguard the economic structure upon which the good of all depends.”

Despite my reading of the U.S. Constitution over and over again, I never saw anywhere in the Bill of Rights a right guaranteeing that “Failure is Not an Option” and that the U.S. Government can just void any contract it wants between private parties because it wants to safeguard Cadillac ownership. There are legitimate national security issues and yes, I know, numerous cases where private agreements are abrogated for the national benefit and under the guise of the commerce clause, but this case when it was decided in 1934 caused the exact opposite desired effect: Banks failed left and right in Minnesota creating a liquidity and cash crisis which devastated not just the farmers and homeowners it was meant to protect, but the very state and local governments who wanted this law enacted in the first place. The bank failures, farm collapse and industrial base imploding left the local and state governments starved for funding and as a result in worse shape than had the foreclosure process been allowed to cleanse the system.

Needless to say, there is a larger issue, at least in this writer’s mind which is staring everyone in the face and the consequences of nonsense like this and the other various bizarre ideas flowing through state houses to “solve” this “problem” are about to create the very nightmare they thought was cured in the 1930’s. As usual this first step into government meddling is nothing more than the Oprahization of the financial markets to make everyone cry and feel good. But the first consequence will be an almost immediate stifling of new paper coming to the bond markets. Why would anyone write a mortgage contract of almost any sort if they thought the government might over ride the agreement to get Senator Flubbus re-elected? Add in the consequence of the investors wanting to shed the paper now at almost any price, and you’re looking at spreads getting ready to soar into the stratosphere which is where I think the TanManMozillo flies to in his G4 to get that deep dark tan. Now that we’ve shaken the confidence of underwriters, banksters and investors, that should pretty much put another nail in the existing home sales and new home sales starting in the first quarter of 2008 once everyone figures out that their return on investment is based on a roulette wheel formula controlled by Benron Bernanke and his group of Goldman flunkies. To add to the misery, find any one with the guts to put up the capital for large scale commercial condominium projects, as even the Donald has cancelled his project in the Tampa area due to the lack of presales despite his name and the Apprentice winner managing part of the project.

The numerous flaws in the plan without even reading it are so hilarious, it’s not even worth posting the details in this rant, just go to the Wall Street Journal in the morning and enjoy the show. The obvious problem that anyone with two functioning brain cells can see is that even though the banksters have turned thirty year paper into thirty five year paper to guarantee their survival with government backing, this does not cure the myriad of other debts that are incurred when one purchases a home. The idiocy of this program does not address an ARM written on a 125% LTV where the debtor is current in their payments and they used the 25% bonus they received on closing for new cars, vacations, or worse, investments in hedge funds that specialized in MBS paper. This means that those foolish loans could easily be protected and even some of the flippers will find a way to deceive the program as they figured that out originally while the good times were rolling. So now I guess we can start the new bail out programs that I propose to finish saving the real estate industry and our economy:

The Escalade refinancing program. All payments are to be frozen at $50.00 per month for 720 months or until the vehicle breaks down. Only people who have subprime home loans where the payments are current and they voted for Barney Frank, even if they lived in Texas will qualify.
The Property Tax dismissal program. In lieu of the inability of people to pay absurd taxes on bogus assessments which the real estate industry promoted to pump up their balance sheets, the Federal Government will pay all property taxes past due on people who had subprime mortgages where the payments are current and they own at least one ecofriendly minivan. To insure this program is fair, people who actually have savings accounts will be required to forfeit at least 50% of their savings because they must be right wing whacko freaks for actually trying to save money.
The Credit Card Forgiveness Act of 2008: Everyone who has a subprime mortgage where they are current and not in default will have their credit card debt paid by a neighbor who doesn’t use credit cards because they are anti-American scum obviously. To insure that people suddenly do not rush out to get credit cards to evade this program, the banksters have assured us that the ABCP market will seize up thanks the Mortgage rescue plan and there will be no desire for short, intermediate or long term paper to be issued to cover any new credit applications.
While I might be speaking tongue in cheek above, the issues are deadly serious. The Fed has no choice, none at all now, but to flood the markets with cheap credit as quickly as possible to insure the commercial credit markets continue to function. Cheap money must become available for the general public also, as the need for the maximization of consumer debt to keep the balance sheets looking good is now national priority number one (Osama Bin-who?). The phrase “inflate or die” will now become the election year mantra as any sustained period with negative economic reports will guarantee a victory by the other party. The Republicans will once again not only sacrifice principles as usual, but long term economic viability in a desperate attempt to retain power which will multiply the problems by larger and larger factors. This attempt to re-leverage a deflating asset class will be akin to burning money in the streets and in the process burning investors worldwide who will eventually bail out in a more open and rapid fashion. The currency, our beloved dollar, will soon be useless as inflation on goods and services skyrocket while the assets the government is attempting to save sink in value, thus initiating the great flight that is already under way yet under the radar. The lack of a manufacturing base will finally come home to roost and this inability to McDonaldize a recovery from the dwindling expansion will finally wake people up and create a withdrawal of funds from investments nationwide by more and more average Americans. The late comers, as usual, will fly to the safety of gold, silver, and other hard assets to weather the storm, just like their parents did in the 1930’s. Meanwhile the Subprime Generation will be wondering where their next magnetic strip will come from, leaving them bewildered when they are laid off from the shopping mall and unable to seek further government aid to sustain their debtor’s lifestyle. The ultimate ending to this story has not been written yet. But the prospects of a deflationary depression starting in late 2008 are quite possibly staring us in the face, as the ability to honor contracts, be they residential mortgages or MBS, CDO’s or CLO’s, will eventually implode our system and the maybe even the government debt creation machine built upon it. The consequences of our excesses for forty years shall now come home to roost. The time to prepare was yesterday, the time to pray for a miracle is now.

I’m going to leave this rant short and sweet as it’s been a long three week period for moi and wow, what a nightmare. The economy in Florida is basically in total collapse. Not only do I sell now, but I get to make collection calls and they are increasing in number and dollar amount. When you start seeing the subcontractors bugging out, that’s a sign we are heading into Phase 2 of our typical Florida housing crash. That means we have 24-36 months to go. So what did the events of the markets today, and this week for that matter, plus the geopolitical storm mean?

First, the stock markets are lagging indicators right now. The refusal to put the garbage on their books out for everyone to see and let the markets decide means that the game of hide and seek must continue. The execs have to keep the illusion up through Thanksgiving to get their Christmas bonuses, but I don’t see it happening. There is a very good chance that next week, we could witness a major negative market event. I fear that the total collapse of the ABX and other commercial paper markets will cause another freeze up in the exchanges and will destroy the international credit system with us shipping the garbage out and the rest of the world repatriating dollars back in exchange. Now they are not participating and this weeks TIC report indicates to me that without the hedgies (Pirates of the Caribbean) and the U.K. (who has to participate because their banking system is married to ours) we would have witnessed a massive monetization of our debt. Instead, we are witnessing a back door acquisition by the Fed, using their laundry facilities in the Caymans. A lot will depend on the idiocy to be uttered at the end of the G7 meetings and if they call for a new currency structure (my guess) is uttered, then Sunday night could be an Asian tsunami of dollar liquidation. Keep in mind that when I say dollar liquidation, I’m not just talking the currency folks; I mean ALL dollar denominated assets including our equities and treasury garbage. The number to watch is 76.85 on the USD Index and 1485 on the S&P 500 cash index. If we violate those with volume on Monday, then we could see a rather dark day, that day. There is no chance the ChiComs or Fed can bail this puppy out and there may not be a desire to and instead scare everyone by painting the swan.

Next, the wild cards of Israel, Turkey, Russia, China and Pakistan will play prominently. We are well within our window of concern about moves being made against us or our allies. Any violence or change in dramatic strategic positions by the big boys, then not only could we see our financial markets touched off, we could see a play by our enemies inside the U.S. and overseas.

Pay attention, alert and prepared. Please.

The doomsayers are out in greater numbers than ever...and from every area in the news.
The troop surge is working in Iraq BUT the political side is failing so it doesn't matter, they say. They said just the opposite when the military side wasn't doing so well but the political side was running smoothly.
The sky is falling on the stock market they say. The market shot up over a thousand points in what, a little over a month? Has it ever rocketed up and not "corrected" soon afterward in a big way?
The housing market is crashing due to abhorrent misuse of the sub prime mortgage lenders. This one they are correct about except that the boom was created by the same factor.
Have you noticed how all broadcast news love a disaster...be it financial, a hurricane, flooding , fire, murder (big or small) and lately mine cave ins. Did you know if we reported on mine deaths (cave in or accident) in China it would be daily news and in greater numbers than we have seen in the past few years. It is far safer to be a policeman or a stunt man in China than a coal miner. Oh, and our biggest trading partner still uses slave labor in many industries...the government rents them out...just like the Nazis. Of course, with Americas materialism if the Nazis were still around, and had the lowest prices, we'd buy from them. If you doubt any of this wander around just about any store and find something made in the U.S.A. It's getting pretty scary. My political science teacher in high school said we would know when the U.S. was failing if we were importing most of our food. Are we there yet?

Syria now has chemical and biological weapons than can strike Tel Aviv and other major Israeli cities, a recent Israeli intelligence report said. However, Defense Minister Ehud Barak has banned the distribution of gas masks in Israel for fear of upsetting the fragile peace with Syria, Israel Insider reports.

Barak said that the distribution of gas masks might give the impression that Israel was preparing for war with Syria and escalate the tense situation between the two countries. Syria attacked Israel in the 1948, 1967 and 1973 wars, and is a sponsor of terrorism.

The move was heavily criticized by many Israeli government officials, and for good reason. Yuval Steinitz, head of Homefront Preparedness in Israel’s Knesset, argued that it is the Defense Minister’s duty to protect civilians from a possible chemical or biological attack and said failure to do so was an egregious error.

Syria has been stockpiling missiles and launchers in and around the Golan Heights area for months, and is reportedly using Iranian money to purchase sophisticated military equipment from Russia and North Korea. “Military sources said intelligence shows Syria was nearing the end of an accelerated deployment of a large rocket arsenal of Katyusha and Scud missiles, including Scud D and other improved missiles supplied by Iran, that can deliver 500-kilogram payloads to Tel Aviv …” the Jerusalem Post said. Many of these missiles can be outfitted with chemical or biological warheads.

The tension between the two sides is so high that some believe even the distribution of gas masks to civilians could push the region over the edge and into war. Still, Israel’s gamble with its citizens’ lives for the sake of showing Damascus it has no intention of attacking could be reasonably interpreted by its enemies as a sign of weakness—and an opportunity. Israel is in an extraordinarily difficult position.

In my opinion the citizens of our country have lost their minds, their memory and their moral direction, not necessarily in that order. Actually, I guess any order will do. You cannot lose any of these three 'M's without adversely effecting the others. And it's not enough just to lose them, we as a Nation have chosen to deny them, to deny that Judeo-Christian moral law had anything to do with our strength and success over these last few centuries. Certainly to deny that it is the foundation upon which we built our country.
With the loss of a moral foundation (abortion on demand, legalized sexual deviants, removing God from our schools) we are now floundering in a sea of uncertainty simply because we are told there is NO ABSOLUTE truths. All truth is subject to the variables of time, place and individual interpretation and therefore there can be no absolute truth. Ever. The scary thing is, if you apply their interruptive truth theory to history then maybe the Nazi's weren’t so wrong and maybe the murder and mayhem that was the dark ages wasn't so hideous. The diversity chant that rocks across our country has destroyed a number of Empires through history. Maybe it's just our turn.

The Destruction of the United States

We know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of Colorado. In that context his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was an immigration overpopulation conference in Washington , DC, filled to capacity by many of America's finest minds and leaders. A brilliant college professor by the name of Victor Hansen Davis talked about his latest book, 'Mexifornia,' explaining how immigration - both legal and illegal was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream.

Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America. The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States. He said, 'If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that 'An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.''

'Here is how they do it,' Lamm said:

'First , to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country. History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way: 'The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy.' Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, and Corsicans.'

Lamm went on: 'Second, to destroy America, invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. Make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal; that there are no cultural differences. Make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.'

'Third, we could make the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec' without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: 'The apparent success of our own multi-ethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentricity and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.' Lamm said, 'I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living in America enforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities.'
'Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school.'

'My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology.' I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority population.'

'My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dual citizenship, and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other - that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic games. A common enemy, Persia, threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. 'E. Pluribus Unum' -- >From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the 'pluribus' instead of the 'Unum,' we will balkanize America as surely as Kosovo.'

'Next to last , I would place all subjects off limits. Make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate. Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-culturism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good. I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them.' In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. Profound silence followed.

Finally he said, 'Lastly , I would censor Victor Hanson Davis's book 'Mexifornia.' His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book.'

There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today. Discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Even barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate 'diversity.' American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as corporations create a Third World in America. Take note of California and other states. To date, ten million illegal aliens and growing fast It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book '1984.' In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: 'War is peace,' 'Freedom is slavery,' and 'Ignorance is strength.'

Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy is deeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we don't get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially The American Dream.

Are the American people really listening to what some of these Presidential candidates are actually saying. Do they realize what kind of Government these people are proposing when they refer "shared prosperity", to policies to redistribute the wealth and income of the American people...to end the Government of the few, for the few, by the few? Do they remember that communism failed because, for all of its talk of equality for all, it gave more equality to some than others and that bureaucrats gain power and wealth through subversion rather than ability...that only in a free economy are all people given the opportunity to gain wealth according to their ability, drive and creativity. Socialistic and communistic Governments have historically been more corrupt and far more brutal than capitalistic ones...even the ones initiated by revolutionaries seeking to free their people from subjugation. It never takes long for the power seekers to gain control of a nation and it's wealth. Bureaucrats all eventually seek their own security regardless of whatever noble intentions led them to their positions.
Hillary wants to be Queen, but I have seen how mercilessly she handles her personal problems and want no part of a ruler who can't even handle her own husband.

Since I am working in Bandon all week, and get very little in the way of Global news there, I make it a point to catch up on the week ends. It amazes me how often one of the things I pick up during this week end study is some inane, stupid or anti-American statement by Jimmy "the cracker" Carter.
Why does this guy get such massive coverage? Think about it...he was a one term President who single handedly drove the U.S. into double digit inflation while embarrassing us internationally with his poor handling of the Iran hostage crisis. He was a babbling buffoon then and is an older one now. He is given honors in those European countries who hate America for its successes because he denigrates our country, and is patted on his gray head like an old pet.
Look at it this way, try to think of another president that is referred to in the familiar way that Jimmy Carter is. Even Bill Clinton is not referred to as Billy Clinton, nor Johnny Kennedy, nor Dicky Nixon. This harmful old dog needs to be muzzled or caged or, even better, his quotes moved into the entertainment section of the paper along with the wisdom of Britney or Paris.

How is it going?
Are you as amazed by the complacency and overall stupidity of the American people (as defined by media polls) as I am. I understand that most politicians are (eventually) power and money hungry nihilist seeking only to perpetuate their own position, but the people have to vote to keep them there...and they do! Pelosi, Feinstien, Reid, Kennedy, Kerry...over and over they vote to keep these self serving demi-gods in power. Regardless of what outrageous thing they do or say..regardless of how they trash our own country internationally and seek to blame us because an envious world hates us, we re-elect them.
Pelosi dances over to the middle east and announces that Israel and some Arab countries made it clear they want to negotiate more closely, and the next day those countries deny her statement publicly...a babbling American babe who suffers visions of personal grandeur. You have Feinstien constantly talking integrity as she sets on her sub committee directing millions of dollars of contracts to her husbands company, Reid and his land dealings, Kennedy and his drunken speeches, and Kerry the war hero. Is that a bunch of vote getters or what.
And now you have Gore, Academy award in hand, out spewing his nonsense to an adoring public who actually believe his tripe that we are heating up the planet by being BAD PEOPLE. Scientist say Mars and Mercury are also warming so there must be SUV's there too! Or maybe it's the solar activity that is increasing like the REAL scientist are alluding to. No...then they couldn't blame us nasty Americans for destroying our planet. Have you seen the movie? Only an idiot would believe that Saint Gore wanders through airports in early morning to catch red-eye flights to give his little talks to a caring world. The last time he carried his own bag through an airport without an entourage was he was in college. That is only one of many lies in the movie. He fails to mention in the segment with the ships rusting atop dry land that the lake is drying up because the feeding water sources are being diverted for irrigation in a failed plan, or that the polar bear bit was years in the making. Everyone has heard about his personal energy use (overuse) and the fact that it's his own company he buys his "offsets" from. And now there is talk of him running for President again. The American people in their stupor just might elect him. Go figure. JT

Can We Escape the Consequences? Pt.1

1.4 million times a year, every 22 seconds in America, 4,500 every day, 49 million since 1973, and still counting. Staggering numbers, where is the out cry ? Much is made by the mainstream media of US combat losses in the war on terror. Please don't misunderstand me here, I am not trying to minimise the deaths of our heroic Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines. They should be honored, respected and remembered by all of us. I'm just looking for a little balance here, a little perspective, maybe some honesty. If it is unacceptable to take 3,256 combat casualties in a war over 4 years in length, why is it OK to murder 4,500 US citizens every day ? They talk of blood for oil, What about the blood because we are spoiled? Children used to be considered a blessing, to some today they are an incovienence. Some people even have the ability to look into the future, and decide that certain unborn babies will probably have such a bad life that killing them, is in the babies best interest. So much for 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness'. Lots of Americans do believe in God, but for many, that god is self.
My fellow Americans, we should be scared, we should be ashamed. God is not blind, or deaf, and he is not mocked. We will answer for all of the innocent blood spilled in our land, sacrificed to the blind god of self. If you believe in God, then you must believe God is just and honorable. Honor demands justice, justice calls for payment. Payment in kind, Blood.

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags.Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat.We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank Kool-aid made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because,WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K.We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or chat rooms.......WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents.We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL!If YOU are one of them…CONGRATULATIONS!You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good.While you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave (and lucky) their parents were.Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn't it?!The quote of the month is by Jay Leno:"With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?"For those that prefer to think that God is not watching over us...go ahead and delete this.For the rest of us...pass this on.

13 States Say No to Security and Prosperity Partnership.

Illegal immigration and the North American Union.

Opposition seems to be growing to the Security and Prosperity Partnership, sometimes referred to as the North American Union. 13 states have resolutions of one form or another in the process of being approved. In one other state, Utah, a resolution encouraging withdrawal from the SSP was not acted upon by the senate.
There has also been strong reaction to the announcement that Mexican trucking companies are going to be allowed on US highways soon. Not only because of the obvious economic damage to US trucking companies, but the possible dangers to US citizens on the roadways. Mexican trucking safety and maintenance regulations are much looser than US laws. There is also the homeland security aspect of this issue. At present US/Mexican border is considered by many to be the weakest front in the war on terror. For many, this program is just another route potential terrorist will use to enter the US and disappear, unnoticed until they attack.
Associated Press writer, Beverley Lumpkin, points out in her recent article, that 600,000 illegal alien criminals have been ordered out of the US but are unaccounted for. The agency responsible for following up on the deportations has neither the manpower, or the resources to track all of the cases. Beginning in 2003, 52-Fugitive operations teams were responsible for monitoring on the cases, by Aug. 2006 the backlog had reached 623,292. That is just over 5% of all the illegal aliens in this country. That's if you accept the official numbers of 11-12 million, some experts place the total at 20-25 million illegals in the US currently. If existing policies are not changed, the flood across the border will continue to accelerate. The strain millions of illegal immigrants place on the local and national public services will eventually cause their collapse. At which point it could possibly lead to violent confrontations between native born Americans and everyone that looks like an illegal alien. This is the really unfortunate aspect of the illegal invasion, legal immigrants and foreign looking US citizens caught in the middle. All of this due to politicians afraid to act, or looking for votes more than the good of their country.

Written in response to a series of letters to the editor in the Orange County Register:

Dear Editor:

So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry. Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900, when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented. Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home. They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity. Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out . My father fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany , Italy , France and Japan . None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan . They were defending the United States of America as one people. When we liberated France , no one in those villages were looking for theFrench-American or the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one ofthose immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl. And here we are in 2006 with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve betterthan that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a beter life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags. And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty , it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. China And Russia?

China recently announced an 18% increase in the military spending for next year. This follows 10 years of 10% increases annually. The number of missiles pointed at Taiwan long ago passed the number needed for defensive purposes. Through their extensive spy network in the US they have stole more sensitive defense related technology then the Soviet Union during the cold war. They are also buying from Russia, and developing weapons systems designed for the sole purpose of defeating US anti-missile, ship defenses, and sinking aircraft carriers. They have also tested some anti-satellite weapons systems, including laser based weapons, a must have capability if you are considering confronting the US.

The Russian and Chinese have signed mutual defense pacts and are members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Russia recently pulled out of the Conventional Forces in Europe Treaty (CFE). Russia can now move army divisions and, or strategic rocket forces to the borders of NATO members. Media inside both Russia and China, are increasingly characterizing the US as an enemy. Since the US directly threatens neither country one must wonder why?

Oregon Senate Assault on Christian values

Oregon Senate bills; OSB2 and OSB776 are the latest attacks on people that hold to the Judeo/Christian values in this state. OSB776 opens all pro life pregnancy crisis centers to investigation, and possibly regulation by the state government. OSB2 is in effect, the first part of a new hate crime law. People in the state of Oregon, contact your senators and congressmen, they may not fully understand what they're doing. OSB776 was proposed at the request of Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups. In its opening statement it presumes that Pregnancy Resource centers mislead and manipulate women away from getting abortions, that statement is a lie! Pregnancy Resource Centers(PRCs) are faith based, and offer their services free of charge. In the state of Oregon PRCs don't accept any public money. The same cannot be said of Planned Parenthood. It looks as though planned Parenthood is using taxpayer money to influence legislators to stamp out their competition.

OSB2 is the latest effort to extend special rights to gays, transvestites, transsexuals and lesbians. At this time all Oregonians have the same rights. The previously mentioned group just doesn't want some of us to exercise our right to disagree with their life-style choices. It's the same old game, the gay lobby trying to force everyone, not just to accept them, but to embrace them. To be somehow admired and repected for expressing their sexuality a certain way. As stated earlier in this article, people of Oregon contact your representitives! Why should a Christian bookstore be forced to hire a man that dresses like a woman?

Have we forgotten, the special day Easter is, an innocent, loving man, died so we can live.
More than just a man, the only son of God above, He walked the earth and healed, He lived and taught of love.

How long will it last ?

U.S. Federal reserve notes backed by nothing... Many Americans don't realize that. U.S. currencies have not been directly backed by gold since 1933. They also don't know that the Federal reserve system is unconstitutional, and that it is directly responsible for the dollar losing 95% of it's real value since 1913. 1913 is the year the Federal Reserve Act was passed and signed into law. An illustration will help here. It takes $14.80 of today's federal reserve notes to equal .30 cents in 1932 U.S. dollars. Yes, it's true. Investigate it yourself, it only gets worse. In 1968 the United States was still a creditor nation( we lent money instead of borrowing it). Now we are probably the biggest debtor nation that has ever existed, and in only 39 years! The problem is that the FRB (Federal Reserve Bank) is not controlled by the US congress like the constitution provides. It is an independent central bank, it is not owned by US tax payers or the US gov. The FRB in reality sells the US government (and its citizens) its own currency, and makes a profit! Our constitution gives only Congress the power to coin money for our nation. I've always wondered what made the law makers of 1913 pass that treasonous act and forfeit our nations financial/economic freedom. What payoff did they receive for betraying us?
